The craft is exemplary – it’s easily the best-looking, best-sounding film since the first. But it takes a deep, personal love of the medium for a director to deliver such crunchy impact, thrills, spills and euphoric highs while treading anew in footsteps as craterous (and muddy) as they come. If it’s not the blockbuster of the summer, I’ll be amazed.

Edwards has a penchant for large spectacle movies with a big budget and a bigger message (see: “Godzilla,” “Rogue One”), and while this “Rebirth” isn’t exactly a thinking man’s “Jurassic,” there's enough B-movie craziness to keep it enjoyable.

To his credit, Edwards immediately injects "Rebirth" with a sense of stakes and tension that the entirety of the previous trilogy struggled to depict. But every time the plot kicks in again and writer David Koepp's script goes through the motions of a standard "Jurassic" movie, those dizzying peaks soon begin to flatten out into overgrown valleys.

It can be said that Rebirth is a stronger entry than Colin Trevorrow’s films simply because low-budget VFX whiz-turned-director Gareth Edwards has a much better eye for shooting dinos, while the overqualified cast is better company than Chris Pratt’s wack pack. Yet it’s pretty hard to shake how dull and perfunctory the entire thing is; a lack of passion emanates from almost everyone involved.

The film offers predictable entertainment, where you can anticipate the events as the story unfolds. You never feel any danger for the main characters because you already know who is going to die and who is going to live. The Jurassic Park film series varies in quality from film to film, but the idea the film wanted to convey was that dinosaurs lived in an environment that would have been beautiful if they had focused on it, but no, let's focus on the stupid family.I didn't like any of the characters in the film except for Doctor, which is unfortunate because I wanted them to delve deeper into Zora's character, her past, and the operations she performed, but they didn't. Throughout the film, she is the funny, strong, wonderful character who gives us the most in generic things in any movie, and the same goes for the doctor, his past, and the reason for his love of dinosaurs. , especially since he worked with Alan Grant, one of the main characters in the first movies. The only thing I see that could revive the series is if they made a horror movie focusing on dinosaurs and how terrifying they really are. Unfortunately, they will focus on the movie's financial profits and forget about the artistic side.
