Takashi Shimizu is by no means a great film director, but in the early 00's he was an important part of the J-Horror boom in the western markets with The Grudge. Almost 20 years later he shows himself to be a director out of ideas and worse, recycling himself. He also directed the other film I just saw. Double disappointment.
