DeGeneres goes much further, though, maintaining a delicate balance between Dory’s optimistic personality and the hovering anxieties created by her imperfect memory.

Much of the plot is outrageously, if also cheerfully, implausible — except that, in a context of talking fish, what qualifies as implausible? The important thing is how everything rings true emotionally.

In the end, is Finding Dory better than Finding Nemo? It’s funnier and more intricate, but the tears it jerks have been jerked before. It’s not as original, not as deep.

Finding Dory can be described in exactly the same way as its title character: good-natured, funny, optimistic, darting from place to place, ranging from anxious to frenzied in tone, and unable to sustain an idea for more than a few moments.

It’s a solid, entertaining, well-paced sequel featuring terrific voice work, a clever script and some ingenious action sequences. It just doesn’t quite reach the soaring heights of inspirational storytelling and elevated humor of the original.

There are some rollicky moments in Finding Dory, which comes 13 years after the markedly better “Finding Nemo,” both directed by Andrew Stanton.

While rambunctious and passably humorous, this offspring isn't nearly as imaginative and nimble-minded as the forerunner that spawned it.

Finding Dory is my favorite movie of all time and Incredibles 2 I love that finding Dory tells the story about the Dory trying to find her family this movie has a good message about how far you'll go to find the people that you love finding Dory has a really good message teaching kids to always stay with their parents and also how far you go I mean United with your family again or the people you love the most Disney's really giving us a really powerful message

Carino. Consigliato? Sì.

Have you ever come across a movie that you wanted to like so badly but for some reason you didn’t? That’s how I feel with Finding Dory. I liked most of the stuff about it, especially the gorgeous animation, but something in the movie just didn’t click for me. The storyline was slightly inferior to the first, but that can be expected in a sequel. The movie blends emotional parts with humor pretty well, but the humor is hit or miss, split about 70/30 really funny to “why did they put that in there?”. The dialogue wasn’t great, with quite a few clichés. The tone of voices that the actors used were out of place noticeably some times. In other words, bad acting in an animated film, no easy task. Finding Dory is an okay film that was decent, but from PIXAR standards, a real disappointment.

Very banal plot, film suitable only for children. It relies entirely on the success of the previous chapter.

I would not recommend watching this film. It is not great. This film is filled with plot holes and things that only happen by coincidence. This film is nothing but a cash grab
