Gory, scary, smart and funny, this is definitely one of the best horror films I’ve seen in years.

Cabin Fever may not be a horror classic, but it's definitely an ideal midnight movie.

I was really surprised by this one! It was so fun to watch, gory as hell, and also hilarious. I liked how it paid some homage to stuff like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Evil Dead, and The Shining, while also keeping a tongue-in-cheek tone. The gore effects were disgusting, the acting and cinematography were good, and the ending was absolutely hilarious. It seems like a love-it-or-hate-it type of movie, but if you like movies like The Evil Dead and Slither, you'll love this.

First-time director Eli Roth turns this cheapie into a greatest-hits of horror. It's a blast of good gory fun that just won't quit.

A disciple of David Lynch's, Roth packs his story with horror, humor, hillbillies and sex. Roth caps his fast-moving story with a joke that's as oddly left-field as it is funny, but truth to tell, it is funny.

As a thriller, Cabin Fever falls short, filled with characters so obnoxiously stupid that just watching their skin slowly melt off doesn't seem like enough punishment.

The movie adds up to a few good ideas and a lot of bad ones, wandering around in search of an organizing principle.

It's just a watery, undeservedly smug update of the low-budget, kids-stranded-in-the-sticks bloodfests of the 1970s and '80s.

Two years in a row, new horror classics were released to theaters. First, The Ring, and now Cabin Fever, a deviously delicious exploitation horror from newcomer Eli Roth, who has great potential as a director. This is also some of the best horror camerawork I've seen in a very long time.

I found this a very good horror comedy. You really grow to hate the main characters right from the beginning until the end. The gore is quite gross in places although nothing too strenuous except maybe the leg shaving scene. It is very fast paced so there is no room for getting bored or thinking about the characterisation. It is well worth watching and is very entertaining. It is funny as well as disgusting. It really is quite a memorable film.

An incredibly bad movie that lacks enjoyment, suspense, thriller and the surprise factor of a horror movie.....

Just Painful to watch, what the hell was that about, one thing this movie teach me it's to watch the trailer or read the plot before watching a movie ever again, and not judge the movie only by it's poster (rookie mistake). It was horrible, no sense at all, just stupid. The acting 0/10 those people didn't know what they were doing at all, it was all just a big mess.
