Eubank's direction has a tenderness for its characters and for the little worlds they build around themselves, bursting full of hopes and dreams that we really want to see them achieve.

excellent cast including Denis Quaid and Tom Skerritt (the young leads are also very fine) make this modern-cowboy-in-Montana story emotionally powerful. Plot is perhaps too stuffed with incident but the writing is sharp, honest, affecting. Is this the director's first feature? If so, and even if not so, expect great things to come.
