Born to Be

A brave, revelatory, and beautifully realized film, it is easily one of the year’s best and most important documentaries.

Through it all Ting is an anchor, a presence of compassion and good sense. Anyone confused about transgender people will certainly benefit from a viewing of this picture.

The stories here are of triumph and tragedy, from those who’ve grown up in a society where they felt free to be themselves to those who’ve been reshaping their faces and bodies since long before it was socially acceptable.

I would highly recommend to watch this movie. Born to Be is the kind of movie that documentaries should be. It shows you a world that you may never see, going deep into the lives of people whose reasons for how they feel in their bodies may seem alien to you.

There is a film made on a strange subject. A film was made on a topic that such people are not very interested in. In the end, I thought that this movie shows how good a doctor makes a person's life.
