Here is a good and joyous man who leads a life that is perfect for him, and how many people do we meet like that? This movie made me happy every moment I was watching it.

Anyone curious about the man behind the lens may find this doc, like its subject, frustratingly opaque and out of reach. Those interested in witnessing a true NYC eccentric document everyday-people city life one outfit at a time, however, will feel like this has been tailor-made.

A movie about a guy who is passionate about what he does is a movie I like to watch. Bill Cunningham in Bill Cunningham New York is eccentric in one of the best ways possible. Living a hassle-free life in the middle of New York while somehow maintaining elite status among the written world. He's been doing it for ages and still continues today, the documentary shows an amazing window into a very interesting person's life. I loved getting to know Bill and if I'm ever strolling around in Manhattan, know that I'm dressing for him.
