The director, Levan Tsikurishvili, never reconciles the movie’s competing impulses. It’s part promotional video, part backstage doc and — in retrospect — part tragedy.

This shows how a wonderful person such as Tim has been pushed in this industry without the help of any one of his co workers, (not that they didn't love him)
The world will never forget what he did with his music, love you Tim Bergling ️◢ ◤️

'Avicii: True Stories' is an incredibly powerful documentary showing the rise, conflict, and tragedy of the life of one of the most famous music artists in the 21st Century. Usually, I don't watch a lot of documentaries, but this one was an exception being that Avicii is one of my favorite artists to listen to. This documentary just captured all of the right elements that a movie contains. You get the feels for Tim Bergling (Avicii) through all the conflicts he faced while on the road pretty much all of his life. It's definitely a great watch if you're into Avicii's music and the amazing legacy he left behind after his passing. Hopefully, he'll get an official Hollywood biopic someday! It would be well worth it!

There’s a sense of dread as the film wraps up, knowing where the real-life story ended, and it’s increasingly out of step with the rosy picture painted by Tsikurishvili. Is he compelled to update the film or leave us with an image of Bergling in his freest moment? Ultimately, it feels like only part of the story, and therefore not entirely true.

Quando "Avicii: True Stories" termina, há uma tristeza dentro de nós, pois sabemos que Tim morreu. Em geral, trata-se só de uma parte do documentário da vida de Avicii. Uma verdade incompleta.
