While I think Stéphane Brizé's At War is an interesting and poignant portrayal of the battle for workers' rights, it falls short of fully capturing the human cost of labor strife and the struggle of the workers against corporate indifference. The film does present an informed view of the complexities involved in this resistance and the implications it has for solidarity, labor justice, empathy with the situation and the awakening of social conscience. Despite not delving too deeply into these areas, the film does provoke meaningful reflection on the situation described. That's what makes this movie worth more attention.
