Tempopo

The fact is that as a fan of Chu Chu Rocket, I am continually disappointed that there isn’t more done with that kind of puzzler, and Tempopo more than scratched the itch. This has been my favourite puzzle game in years.

Tempopo is a phenomenal puzzle game that excels in just about everything it tries to do, taking inspirations from some of the best games in the genre and turning them into something truly unique and truly special. It’s a gorgeous audiovisual experience that puts your brain into a puzzle-solving frenzy, and it’s one of the best puzzle games you’ll ever play.

Tempopo is another impeccable Witch Beam game. Considering what the company’s done with it, Assault Android Cactus, and Unpacking, I’m starting to wonder if the team can’t miss. It’s deceptively difficult, quite satisfying, and a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Especially when you really start getting into the more challenging stages.

Tempopo is a beautiful and inclusive puzzling experience. No matter your age or ability, you can enjoy this title. Furthermore, the music is delightful and each world is a twisting masterpiece.

Tempopo won’t have the same impact for adults as Unpacking but it’s a fun diversion brimming with cheer and pitched at a very reasonable €20.

Tempopo is a chilled out and laid back puzzler that isn't too difficult, yet it provides just the right amount of challenge to keep you playing.
