This game died too quick. It's one of my favorite multiplayer games to grace the Switch. It was free, no NSO required, and I didn't have problems playing matches and winning without paying. (A common problem with free-to-play games) Now, it was missing a story mode, and only had the one mode, so it wasn't a huge game. But for what was there, it was perfect. I'll never forget the first time I won a game. Good times. I hope one day we will see another online bomberman, and if we do, that Konami will get it right.

Yet another victim of the bursting "live service" bubble, Super Bomberman R Online was gone too soon. It's a pity, because this game could be a lot of fun when playing with friends and strangers alike. Sadly, it apparently wasn't profitable, because Konami pulled the plug after less than two years. The good news is they haven't given up on the brand, and another Bomberman game is on the way (as of 2023). Hopefully they get it right this time.

Kinda boring without the story, and the game is a bit confusing without a guide first.

Very nice battle royal sequel in Bomberman series. Lot of characters with diffferent but balanced playstyle. Intense gameplay. I skipped this series for decades but I became a fan of this version after a few battles.
