It’s a well-crafted and loving tribute to the original, but it definitely spices up the action with a new millennium look and feel.

With its awesome gameplay, its slick presentation, and the classic theme of the '83 coin-op respected in full, Spy Hunter for the PlayStation 2 is one of the biggest surprises of the year.

Paradigm Entertainment really knows how to Translate best Arcade Racing/Action experience into a modern day Racing/Action Video Game, the point is this game really great to enjoy Fast Paced experience. I even praised their "Stuntman Ignition" for the same Fast-Paced and creative action sequence that really capture the themes of each fictional movies in it Heavily recommended for Midway Arcades Collectors and Speed Runner Gamer, you won't regret it.

Fast-paced destructive fun in delightfully varying environments with a nice James Bond -esque agent feel to it. The graphics still look extremely good: they must've been amazing back in the day! The mission objectives can be slightly overwhelming as they clearly cannot all be completed in one run.

I can't find a single gripe with the game. The control is absolutely perfect (wait till you feel the transition from road to water, it's awesome), the sound is great, the interface is clean and gorgeous.

Spy Hunter has left me stunned, proving itself to be one of the most fun and addictive games to hit the PS2.

Great pick-up-and-play, arcade-style fun.

Game Revolution
It brings a legendary game into the next-generation with good graphics, tight control and solid if redundant gameplay. It might not be "Goldfinger," but it's a far cry from "Moonraker."

There's so much to like about Spy Hunter that it's a shame a few of the developers' design choices make it a chore to play through at times.

Update of a rather primitive top down scroller, this 3D version is a road racer/shoot 'em up hybrid that puts you in the hot seat of a James Bond style super car. It's the kind of game that could've been fantastic as levels within a larger sandbox style affair, but on its own there's not *quite* enough to it. It is fast, frantic and fun while it lasts though.

A remake of the 1983 game. A used copy is out there somewhere. Find and buy it. It's mindless fun, but can be quite difficult. Here's hoping Sony would re-release it on PSN
