Intravenous
On the whole, Intravenous is a finely crafted homage to early Splinter Cell titles. It’s definitely worth picking up for its solid stealth gameplay, but a few key aspects of its design really holds it back from being anything really fantastic.

A very interesting game for sure that reminds me of an old flash i played back in the day. Stealth is definitely your friend and the game takes realism to heart as enemies will hear even silenced shots as they would in real life if in close proximity. That being said having played on true difficulty it felt more like being punished rather than challenged and ironically being loud and reckless made things easier even if it took multiple attempts to get the job done. The second half of the game is made all the more difficult cause you no longer have armor or gadgets unless you find them on the map. The story is nothing to write home about which is fine but the game left me more agitated then satisfied which was a major disappointment.

Like a mash-up of Hotline Miami and Splinter Cell that isn't remotely as good as either. As other users have said, lots of trial and error when enemies can see you WAY outside of the screen and you have no idea they're there unless you painstakingly go through trial and error to pinpoint all the enemies before moving through an area. Contrived, bad stealth. I guess there are guns, too, but good luck fighting off an entire map's worth of enemies if you make any loud noise. That means it's a bad stealth game OR a bad top-down shooter, as you choose it to be.

Nice game for me this game feels like old 90' games. It has its problems but overall worth playing if you like that kind of shooters/action games

Very fun stealth gameplay that may seem challenging at the start butyou feel like a trained assasin after you learn the game mechanics

Отличная игра. Очень схожа с хотлайн майами, но при этом более разнообразная в прохождении и количестве оружия. Жаль саундтрек не такой сильный, как в той же хотлайн майами

Terrible. Clunky and inaccurate controls are coupled with AI that is both hyper aware and painfully stupid. Maps are large and enemies love to stand in front of windows and shoot you from outside the screen, but they'll also rush you like lemmings as soon as you fire a single shot so you can just hold a corridor and mow them down effortlessly, which is the only way you can hope to complete the game on a higher difficulty (such as the obnoxiously named 'True' difficulty, described as the game's intended experience). There are six movement speeds, of which only the fastest matters, and several weapons that are completely identical except for name and weight. None of this matters, because you can bring an assault rifle with large amounts of ammo to any mission and easily mow the entire map down. The presented story is a greasy, juvenile revenge fantasy, John Wick if it was written by an edgy child; a junkie kills your brother and this gives you moral license to go on a rampage. One of the first things you achieve is killing the man who did your brother in, but the viewpoint character keeps going long after one's empathy for him has run out. The game plainly refers to homeless junkies as 'degenerates' that need to be purged and no character in this game can go for more than a few scenes without throwing slurs into the wind. Did I mention there's slurs? Enemies in this game bombard you with homophobic slurs nonstop, because this is a mature and realistic game, and adults can't go two sentences without using the F-word, right? The game's developer, when responding to Steam reviews, loves to quote that one technically never has to kill any homeless junkies to complete the game, but given the previously mentioned horrendous AI and the way the game's themes are presented that's extremely disingenuous. Whoever made this clearly has some extremely pointed opinions on what should be done about the homeless which they completely fail to divorce from the product. The one credit I can give this game is that it's very sound from a technical standpoint: I never experienced any bugs or glitches and the options menu is well-stocked. If you're looking for a serious, punishing stealth game, there are better options. If you're looking for a lurid power fantasy, there are better options. Don't waste your time with this.
