Gigantic offers engaging, fast-paced gameplay and well-designed daily quests system, but needs much more characters. Dividing the PC community between Windows Store, Steam and Arc will not help it succeed. [10/2017, p.64]
Motiga have created a fast paced and intense game that MOBA and shooter fans will both be able to sink their teeth into. An Incredible art style mixed with fantastic hero designs makes Gigantic stand out from the crowd and offers limitless possibilities. The few problems the Gigantic has are eclipsed by the sheer fun that that it is to play and I don’t see myself dropping this game anytime soon.
The foundation for Gigantic is great. Good gameplay, fun and visually appealing, but the lack of content is holding it back, so we'll have to wait and see how this promising experience evolves.

Great art, nice character design, good gameplay balance. Nice enough community that they don't get upset in chat or trash talk. All of that can't save the game's matchmaking, which is incredibly unstable and unfair. I was topping the efficiency charts on my team, but even then the enemy scores were always 10x higher than us. It really pairs you against a whole team of people with special avatar icons vs a team of brand new players. It suffers frequent disconnects with no option to reconnect. If one player leaves matchmaking, everyone has to leave. It's a huge waste of time compared to other moba games that just load a new player in or allow them to reconnect. There seem to be no penalty for crashing the game for everyone else, as you can just immediately start a new game after getting DC'd, at least. I played Gigantic in Beta years ago, and it seems they've added no new maps. It's very repetitive, even for moba/ team objective game.

Brilliant game, loved the frog boi, Wu. Gameplay was fluid and abilities were fun. 10/10 Awful it got shut down.

Was one of the most fun MOBA / arena shooter games while it lasted. Unique art style and characters and fun mechanics.

Gigantic may not exactly be wildly innovative, but its likable characters and tactical depth are impressive enough to make an old formula feel fresh again. These key core elements, plus the vital ingredient of a healthy fan base that guarantees you’ll pretty much always be able to find a match, make the game stand out, even among the crowded free-to-play MOBA genre.

In a market swamped in MOBAs, Motiga has made a game that might just be unique enough to stand out on its own. Collecting energy to preserve your lead in the race to charge up your guardian first creates very tense, and exhilarating gameplay. Though the finicky UI isn’t a deal breaker, it may confuse some newcomers and I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on such a fun game because of a small inconvenience.

In some ways, Gigantic is a jack of all trades, pulling influences from half a dozen different disparate games and genres. That mixture might sound messy on paper, but in practice developer Motiga pulls it all together to create matches that feel tense, challenging and hugely rewarding. The time I’ve invested into Gigantic so far feels worth it, and there’s enough variety and enough new content planned already that I have no doubt I’ll be jumping back in in the future.

A beautiful gameplay, some nice arts and a really cool character design makes Gigantic worth a try. Motiga show us that there is still more space to try something different in MOBA/Shooting Genre, now we have just to wait and see which kind of support after launch we'll get.

For a genre that is continuing to grow thanks to the monumental success of Overwatch, Gigantic is a bigger splash than I expected.

Gigantic is an accessible MOBA that admirably scales the genre down, but loses the magic that makes the genre so enticing. It lacks many of the myriad ability and character interactions that make learning these kinds of games so much fun, and the combat doesn’t find a comfortable center between MOBA and third-person action.

Bad publicity and a dividing the playerbase too much, plus the closure of the studio causes a unique, free to play game to shut down.

A unique take on MOBA. Or should I say, hero-fighter and hero-shooter MOBA? It's different from the other battle arena games out there. You fight 5v5 on a arena with a rather different kind of layout, summon creatures and eliminate enemies and their creatures. There are no actual minions or towers, rather, players fight to death in an attempt to power up their own Guardians. The game ends when the enemy Guardian is killed. It has its fair share of flaws, but worth a try especially since it's free to play, you can then decide for your own afterwards if you want to invest real money, provided you enjoy it.

Has potential, but it's currently overshadowed by the problems it has. The graphics are too flashy to the point of having a problem reading what's happening on the screen. Matches are drawn out. Matchmaking looks like it just throws 10 available people together without taking their skill into consideration (I'd say 10-20% of matches are fair, rest of the time you're either stomping or being stomped). Needs more maps. Bad balance. Combat feels overall good, but it's bit too hectic (mostly because of visual over-saturation) . Hopefully, they'll fix most of these things, but right now it' a "no".
