Foundation's third season is by far the most intense and the series best one yet. With high production values, great CGI and an amazing story that wraps all of its characters wonderfully - This is one of the best sci-fi shows around.

We’ve waited over six years, but the wait has been well worth it: Foundation is one of those city builders you never want to put down. Polymorph Games’ title has everything you’d expect from a city management sim, skillfully blending creative freedom with careful planning. It’s visually stunning, enjoyable to play, and its interface manages to keep even the most advanced and complex moments clear. The only real downside is the occasional bug and a few crashes that persist despite the long development time.

You'll hardly ever find a settlement game that feels as natural as Foundation, but you'll have to accept compromises in terms of graphics and mechanics.

If I had to choose one of the more recent Settlers-like games as my favorite it will probably be Foundation. There are runner-ups but this game scratches that particular itch in exactly the right ****'s a sprawling city-builder running on an engine that has been molded into something truly unique over the years. I've played several iterations of the game since it first made its appearance here on Steam. But the 1.0 release is just like playing a new **** looks and sounds absolutely stunning for a start! And it plays in a way that really fits my preferred playstyle. It will show you all kinds of opportunities. But it doesn't force anything on you. It's basically just saying "Hey, would you like to have this or that as a goal?" and then you can decide whether that sounds interesting to you and then it will either go away or show up as an objective that you can work **** it's kind of a creative hand-holding I guess. I love that! The only real downside I see to the game is the lack or any progression between levels / maps. But please don't let that scare you away. I've played many maps and everytime I start over I've learned new stuff that I want to do different on this new map. And that in itself is a sort of progression. What that means is that the game is pretty darn complex. But no more than it doesn't shove anything it your face. It just means that each time you start over you are excited to do particular things differently this time around. It works very well on that **** it's complex if you want it to be. You can also just build a city with serfs that do basic stuff and expand with that - it's up to you. But there's ample opportunity to go overboard with everything where you can end up with a huge stronghold, a grand monastery and a city with social layers and procedurally build houses (I love **** last strong-point I want to get across if how creative the construction of buildings is. Many, not all, but many of the buildings can be expanded with many, many specialized pieces that snap onto the building in a Lego way. This is so much fun and really adds a creative layer to everything in the game. And the pieces are not just for show. Each pieces levels up the building in different ways that allows you to specialize it for that particular location. This game deserves a lot more attention from people who like city-builders. It's waaaaay better than pretty much anything else I've played. And I've played A LOT of them.

I’ve been playing Foundation for about two weeks now, and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s one of the most relaxing and enjoyable games I’ve ever played. The pace is slow and steady, allowing you to build and manage your village without any stress or pressure. It’s the kind of game you can sink into for hours while enjoying a calm and peaceful **** trade system is especially well-designed and adds a satisfying layer of depth to the gameplay. While I do think that using mods becomes almost essential in some areas to enhance the experience or fill certain gaps, the base game itself is already **** you’re looking for a stress-free, charming city-builder with a unique approach and plenty of room for creativity, Foundation is definitely worth trying.

Pas le jeu de gestion de l'année, mais sympa si vous voulez vous relaxer sans développer une migraine à faire de la micro-gestion.

An impressive medieval city builder with unique systems and great visuals, despite some frustrating clarity issues.

Foundation is a cozy and beginner-friendly city builder, which is particularly suited for those who like shaping beautiful settlements. Even with a lack of challenge and long-term motivation in between, the organic and aesthetically pleasing building style draws us back into the game time and time again.

Foundation was in early access for a long spell, and is still being updated. It demonstrates a smattering of annoying user interface quirks, including an over-reliance on multiple mini-windows and weird English syntax. But its main charm is that it provides a peaceful, relaxing world where challenge exists, but isn’t paramount. It is (and I say this without irony or malice) a safe place.

Excellent city builder, c'est beau, c'est clair, quelques mécaniques étranges (nos villageois ne se reproduisent pas ?!) mais je pense qu'il va encore pouvoir évoluer et se bonifier.

I played it before 1.0 and it was funny experience but only for few hours as it was early access and multiple things don't worked correctly then. Now after release I returned to check this title. In my opinion good game but it needs huge amount of balancing, patches and fixes. My plan is to wait 6months and check it then.
Summary Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.
