A tragic letdown of a DLC for a game that I initially loved, Titans is more of the same of many of the worst aspects of Everspace 2: The monotonous, frustrating puzzles; the kinds of mission objectives that make you feel like a horse being led to water; and a bunch of uninteresting characters spouting meaningless drivel that only serve to propel an uninteresting plot forward. Not even the promise of new gear and ship parts, the biggest allure of the original game, could keep me interested in this DLC. For as tacked-on as this DLC felt to me, I want to reiterate that the base game still provide absolutely excellent bang for your buck - however, I would personally hesitate to recommend this DLC, which I think only illuminates the base game's most glaring flaws, which is a damn shame.
