In the end, Disney Dreamlight Valley still managed to captivate me thanks to its wonderful cast of characters and their magical worlds. The cozy life-sim concept allows you to gather, farm, and build at a leisurely pace. Unfortunately, I was also disappointed by the decision to have a real-time sync feature and an unclear progression path that’s compounded by repetitive tasks. The quests that you undertake aren't skill-based either--they're patience-based, so to speak, as any mistake made when unlocking biomes or spending materials can be downright exasperating. Two concepts clash here: the delightful and whimsical themes that spark the joy of your inner childhood, and the frustrations of time management as you experience the monotonous daily grind as an adult.
Whether you become a prominent paid player or a free-to-play one, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s base game already has so much to do that you could easily spend hundreds of hours in it, especially for fans of the Animal Crossing franchise and anything Disney and Pixar.
Steep costs and microtransactions taint an otherwise dreamy life sim.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the game was really fun at the beginning, but after about 14 hours, it just consists of grinding, which I personally find pretty boring. That's why my game progress from hour 14 onwards has basically disappeared into the depths of my account, and I haven't really felt like playing the game again since then, because on the one hand the grinding, BUT above all the in-game shop and the DLCs just get on my nerves.I would give it a solid.

Injouable au combo clavier/souris depuis la sortie officielle . Avant aucun problème . Toujours pas de patch pour régler le problème depuis tout ce temps . Mérite un zéro pointé ! Unplayable on the keyboard/mouse combo since the official release. Before no problem. Still no patch to fix the problem since all this time. Deserves a zero point !

Disney Dreamlight Valley is brimming with Disney magic, but it's also a well-constructed game with plenty to keep you playing. [Early Access Score = 90]

If the change had happened much sooner, with enough time to properly convert this game into the “premium” product that Gameloft intends for it to be now, I think there would have been a lot more changes. But, if you’re the kind of Disney fan who can look past a few oddities and inconveniences to see your favorite characters chatting it up in a cafe or hanging out with you while you tend your farm, it’s got enough magic to be worth it.

If you’re looking for a cozy game bursting at the seams with things to do that will have you whiling away the hours, Disney Dreamlight Valley is definitely worth it: it’s shaping up to be one of my favorite games of 2022, and it’s not even out of early access yet. The ability to live alongside some of Disney’s most memorable characters, raise their Friendship level and design the world that they inhabit is truly something that I never knew I needed until it arrived. Take a little Animal Crossing, add a pinch of Stardew Valley, mix it all up in a Disney cauldron, and you've got Disney Dreamlight Valley! If the formula gives the impression of having the air of a thoughtful marketing project, the game is actually surprisingly effective and endearing. [Early Access Score = 80]

The characters are great and give you a experience full Disney experience but the graphics are not great, it has bugs, some missions get you stuck and you get bored after playing it for a while as it is very repetitive and it requieres a lot of time for a mission that it might not get done die to a Bug. Besides that I think the games is fun and could be better in the future if Disney wants they have a great start!

As a free game, there is some fun to be had even as someone that has out grown and not a big fan of Disney stuff. Felt better than Animal Crossing, but I'm not the biggest fan of that series outside of the DS versions.

Great content and overall enjoyable game. Unfortunately an otherwise wonderful casual life sim is marred by horrifically bad performance and stability.

Need to buy this game on all kids accounts on one console to be able to play it is ridiculous. So say you have 3 children and they have an account on one console you have to buy the game 3 times. €30x 3. What a greed.

SummaryDisney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new. Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony - until the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew acro... Read More
