This game is not for everyone, but if there's even a little part of you that wants to hurl daggers at skeletal spiders under extreme duress, I recommend you go to hell. It's fun here.

Devil Daggers is an intense first-person shooter that seems to be shallow with a lack of features, but actually has an unexpected depth to it. In every level you will learn something new and the possibility to check out how other people play the game, makes it a very engaging experience.

Devil Daggers knows exactly what it is (and more importantly what it isn't) and revels in it. I would highly recommend Devil Daggers.

It’s a brutal, but brilliant shooter that finds strength in its minimalism, stretching a few seconds of action here and there into endless hours of dreadful fun.

FPS full of action, in which you are constantly going through the same things. Instead of boredom, you will find fun in your small victories.

Devil Daggers is a brilliant old school shooter inspired by Doom and Quake, that offers an adrenalinic experience condensed in few minutes. Gameplay is very simple and addictive, and you will get busy for a long time with this game, hoping to survive till the end and to climb the online ladder. Even though a single run lasts few seconds.

Sometimes it gets more intense than Hotline Miami (!), while memories of Doom will keep your spine running with shivers. Terribly challenging, but still worth it.

Difficulty? Yes..... Story? Nobody has time for that sh't! Gameplay? Surprisingly minimalistic but at the same time it has a lot of depth. Gem farming, shotgun tech, dagger jumping and Bhopping. You will need to master all of the mechanics of the game if you want to get past 500 seconds. Sound design? You hear a faint and deep laughing sound behind you. You choose to ignore it completely and 3 seconds later you realize you just made a terrible mistake ignoring it. Then you proceed to die. Lesson learned, next time you should take care of that skull just a bit earlier if you want to survive.

With only one arena and death coming quickly, you would think this game would get boring fast. However it is very addictive as it keeps making you want to beat your high score due to its great combat.

Cansa a las pocas horas, le habría venido bien un arsenal más amplio. Es disfrutable y mejora mucho si compites con amigos, pero no llega a enganchar del todo. Me gustó el estilo artístico.

Lol... This kind of games reveal how lost some reviewers are with indie games. Not all indie games are good, and this is a good example. If this game had been released in the Doom/Heretic years, wouldnt have drawn a single drop of attention. In short, retro graphics and high difficulty dont make a good game by themselves.
