Devs who had excellent artistic talent but not enough game design talent! Skip this game or watch a video to make sure can deal with gameplay, bugs. Played on switch and PC and both had different major bugs and issues. Even if this were working with the playthrough I watched it's a 6/10 and I'm being generous. Go watch's gameplay video for yourself and decide. Should have just made an animated film... Would have scored better.

I've never felt so involved, moved and changed after playing other games. Beautiful to look at and listen to, a touching and courageous story, perhaps the best of the year, and artistically it's one of the most important achievements of the video game industry in recent years. Shame on all of you who have treated it that unfairly, criminals!just change your job,trust or play Fortnite instead!

My heartis broken when i say this but... I think this game had better chances as animation film. Story : great. Animation : beautiful. Graphism : absolutely beautiful. BUT ! the game as serious problems with all gameplay part. After two months waiting for a switch patch, i've been softlocked again, and yes now we can restart the chapter, but the gameplay itself has serious ploblems (inoutsor jumping for example) and i hate to say that, but for me, all the game part ****, i don t have problems on die and retry on games, but not on this kind of games where controls are problematic. thats sad, the rest is incredible ....

The methodical gameplay and occasional difficulty spikes of Bye Sweet Carole won’t be for everyone, but for those who crave an old-school stalker horror with a remarkably poignant story tying everything together, there is nothing else out there quite like this incredibly gorgeous, genre-defying gem.

As a Rule of Rose lover, this game couldn't just not be a part of my favorite games list. The plot got me crying like a baby, every character has their own good and bad sides which is something I really believe is important for a character's good development. The RoR Easter eggs were so cute tho hahah. It’s also cool how I can see similarities from both RoR and Clock Tower. The art style is also beautiful. I'm playing my games more for the story, but of course a good gameplay is important too. So, if you're a person who doesn't really look through the plot but plays just for the gameplay, you might not enjoy it. But if you like games with heart touching plot i absolutely recommend. :)

Bye Sweet Carole is beautiful to look at, but a little tough to get through. The inconsistencies may not be enough to turn survival gamers off, but they may be too much to validate a full playthrough. If you love escape rooms, and not Dragon's Lair, hop to it.

For people who are really big fans of games that are light horror/adventure game mixes – games like the long list of RPG Maker titles that are clearly meant to be primarily horror titles with some inventory puzzles like Ib or The Witch’s House, for example – I think this game is going to really sing. However, for a lot of other players, the mix isn’t quite going to carry a tune. That’s not a bad thing, and the game knows what it wants to be, but it does mean that the game is perhaps as unwelcoming as its title might suggest.

As a lifelong fan of animation and 90s adventure games like Broken Sword and The Curse of Monkey Island, playing Bye Sweet Carole was an emotional experience. The artistry is absolutely stunning! Every frame feels alive and it looks like you are inside an animation movie. It's a game that stays with you long. A fantastic piece of art and an instant classic.

I think people are putting a lot of pressure on this game. It's a short, sweet game that provides a nice feeling of nostalgia for people who grew up on classic Disney. That said, the gameplay itself could have used a lot more work as other people have already noted. Especially the puzzles. The enemy movement patterns through rooms also seems weird and buggy sometimes, and can become very annoying. Not difficult, just annoying. If this game had just doubled down on the dark disney aspect, leaned into the beautiful art style and went head first into the puzzle design while keeping the enemy encounters to a few meaningful and well polished interactions, this game could have been a real gem. As is, grab it on sale, enjoy it for what it is, but dont put too much pressure on expectations.

Wait 80% discount and fixing alot of things or skip it because it's last 3 chapters become rubbish story with woke and political Feminism watch it on utube.
- 6 - 6:30 hours long. -repetitive unpolished 2d animation alice in wonderland easy stealth easy puzzles woke game, alot of annoying glitches, clunky controls, awful unfun mini games section, some cringe moments, political woke Feminism, some places bad level design, very bad easy long final boss fight, good story 1st half game then late game woke story become shallow bad directed and ruined the story. -only good animation blend in game and some death animation.
