Massive open world with basically no restrictions at a minimal price. This game is like 10 games in one. There's your classic monster fighting MMO, but there's also a complete ocean boat-trader game, a full cooking game, a full home decoration game, hunting, horse taming, the list goes on. The fighting system is much more complete and complicated than any other MMO out there, it's even better than practically every fighting game. The traditional storyline path is pretty mediocre, but going through it the first time is a great way to discover the world in which the game takes place. So much of the PVP content nowadays is gear capped, so getting to a "good enough" spot gear wise won't take you so long. I would give this game different scores depending on how you want to play it. If you want to play this game casually as a PVE experience, this is a 7.5/10. If you want to play this game for general PVP content such as the Arena Of Solare or Capped Nodewars/Siege, I'd bump the score up to a 9/10. If you want to push the limits of this game to obtain and maintain hardcapped gear and participate in uncapped content, this game is so far along that the gear curve and required grind has become so ridiculous that I can't give it anything above a 4/10. For my years on this game and how I've been around PVP focus and community, I balance its grade up to an 8/10.

Black Desert Online is a spectacular MMORPG in terms of graphics, combat, and gameplay freedom. It's a title that rewards dedication and time invested, offering a vast world full of activities, from PvE and PvP to trading, exploration, and horse breeding. However, it's also a game that doesn't forgive: it has frustrating RNG mechanics, progression based on extreme grinding, and a monetization system that can feel a bit aggressive.
