By all rights and intentions, BeachHead 2000 should have been a flaming piece of crap. I'm flabbergasted...Scientists are at a loss to explain why this title is so damned addictive.

A stress buster with mindless fun.

Offers plenty of mindless fun that gives your brain the chance to go on cruise control.

A mindless little distraction that requires reflexes, not brains.

Unless you happen to be stuck in a beach house on a rainy day and this is the only game disc around, I would have to say, skip it.

This game is strangely addicting just like "Missile Command" used to be.

Oddly enjoyable for a few hours, but the fun runs out quicker than your AA guns' ammo.

Too bad repetitive action, mediocre graphics, and a limited kraut’s-eye-view perspective make slaying Private Ryan and company as predictable as an episode of "Hogan’s Heroes."

Uninspired.

Ultimately, the game wears thin—and quickly. The first dozen levels are pretty manageable but then it becomes an exercise in frustration.
