Nostalgia y vigencia se combinan en este espectacular remaster. Incluso luego de ediciones posteriores la comunidad lo sigue eligiendo. Con contenido que lo nutre aún hoy. Demuestra el amor que tanto fans como la compañía tienen por este titulo. Debo decir ademas, que me emociona jugarlo con mi hija, yo tenia su edad cuando lo descubrí.

Age of Empires II is one of those iconic games that becomes formative in your life. For me, it’s a return to early childhood and the clean simplicity of classic strategy titles. That simplicity is deceptive, though, as the game demands quick thinking and sharp execution against stronger opponents. Two decades later it still maintains a devoted player base, bolstered by its 1999 release and its excellent 2019 revamp. At this rate, you can probably expect another update in 2029.

Insanely addictive RTS, got it on sale on steam for $5 and it's a tremendous value. I only played the campaign and the "Age of Kings" portion of the game has given me nearly 70 hours of gameplay. The hours literally melt away when I play this game. It is crack, I'll play at night on a weekend and all of a sudden I see the light from the morning through my window. I will say that there is a learning curve to this game if you're new to RTS like I was. It can be frustrating getting wrecked by the AI but once you get used to it its really fun booming your civilization and destroying other via campaign scenarios. I also really enjoy the historical element of the game and learning about people I never really heard of like Barbarossa really adds to the fun.
