This game marks the next generation of MMOs in many ways. It looks good, is very entertaining and plays very well. This is a journey well worth taking.

It won't put WoW out of business, but then again, nothing will for a long time, and that doesn't mean this isn't a great game with tons of appeal and a hopefully more mature audience

A medicore game by a horrible company that disrespects its costummers. I highly recommend to look for another company that actually cares about its costummers without randomly banning them.

Horrible game company that tends to suspend their players at random and refuses to give players a reason (Except: Sorry, its extremely busy we can't answer)). I highly recommend to not deal with this company. Funcom games are also in general extremely buggy but every game does has its unique flavor. Its just that the company is too horrible that I can't recommend any of their games.

This game is massively superior to "World of Warcraft" and "Lord of the Rings Online" and other current high rated MMORPG’s in many ways and should be a game to pull players of all types to it if they are willing to give it a chance.

Even though the game had a rough start the company really has turned it around. They seem to have listened to their playerbase more, dropped the subscription fee and the payment transaction system is pretty fair considering how these games can get. So glad to see the company is stable and sticking it out for those in this market that enjoy the great art and lore. Some of the better writing ive found in a MMO

At this point in time, we’re confident in recommending Age of Conan if you love MMOs and are looking for something completely different to what’s out there. It admirably manages to present a massively multiplayer experience while at the same time forging its own path with an added emphasis on single player story and real time combat.

The most beautiful landscapes, the most captivating sword fights and the most believable online world to date. Age of Conan is still a work in progress, but already fascinating and managed to captivate eight of our editors over the last few weeks. There are some technical problems, but if Funcom keeps on improving the game it could be the other big MMO next to World of Warcraft.

Funcom has managed to put a good game on the market with Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. The game has many new aspects and therefore differs itself from other MMO games. The graphics are beautiful, as long as you have a good system to cope with it. The bad interface and some minor bugs are the reasons Age of Conan didn't get a higher result.

However, once you pass the infant stages of the game, play becomes all too familiar, all too repetitive and all too unpolished. I'm not saying avoid Age of Conan - feel free to give it a go and enjoy the early stages with your free 30 days of play.

The genre isn't in its infancy anymore, and developer Funcom doesn't have the trailblazer status that would grant easy deflection of criticism about unimplemented features and crippling bugs... Right now, Age of Conan is fun game to play -- this summer, it might be ready for the MMO pantheon.

Great MMO, really good. Don´t know about launch problems some years ago, anyway version 4.0 rocks and I got all expansions and adventure packs. Everyone should check it out and make sure to get the expansion because Kithai is massive and beautiful

This game had the best starting area and great graphics at its time (2008). Also a nice combat. But that's it. Lots of bugs and not much of an endgame brought it low. Many things were fixed but there are better games out there now. PS This game has far too many 10s from accounts who voted only AOC and its successor. Too suspicious.

The Single player and co-op aspects of the game are good. The PVP is broke, or at least it was when I played a few years ago. They may have improved it recently. I was a melee class, I think conqueror and my opponent was some archer. I was higher level. I ran at my opponent and I was hit by a stun arrow, I stayed stunned for nearly two minutes unable to do anything while the archer slowly killed me. Um...? Stupid.

realy stupid mele combat in this game and its the important part of any game could have been ok game but after the 30 days i got enough, and no wonder it is now free to play
