The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered8

The game looks great, but as you play the missions and fighting your opponents, you realize that you're playing a very old game. If you're ok with that, it's going to be a blast.

Whad attracted me to this game was that it was visually and thematically inspired by Bioshock and (mostly) Bioshock Infinite. That said, I found this game slightly disappointing. It's a FPS with some RPG elements, but unlike Bioshock, it is not really a shooter but more of a melee combat action (you have guns but they hardly do any damage, and ammo is very limited). I'm 10 hours into playing this game, and it almost feels like a chore. In short, aesthetically pleasing, but frustrating combat mechanics, story is a bit boring and predictable, and way too many puzzles.

an *Ok* entry in the FC series. The story and settings are not as powerful as FC4/5, and I'm not huge fan of the cartoonish graphics (mostly the aiming part). The game does have some RPG elements in it now, but they are relatively minor, and do not significantly change the gameplay from previous releases. I still enjoy the action and the huge amount of content, so you can absolutely waste many hours on this game.

No performance issues on RTX2080TI/Intel i9 running 4k, so that's great. That said, the game was let down for me, I find it repetitive, and although the story supposed to be captivating, it is not. The gameplay borrows aplenty from the incredible Dishonored series but somehow does it all wrong. Add to that the fact that the protagonist is pretty unlikable, and you find yourself pretty bored...pretty quickly. Too bad, I had so many expectations for this game. Perhaps wait for that sub $20 sale to get it...

Far Cry meets Wolfenstein (or maybe Doom?). Open world, plenty of side missions and locations, story is light, but great shooting mechanics and it looks great (2k res, GTX 1080TI). Biggest complain: the game saves are not in the cloud (using Bethesda launcher), so it won't sync between different machines. I was able to solve it by pointing the "save games" folder to a onedrive location.

Far Cry New Dawn8

Pretty simple: if you like Far Cry 5, you'll like Far Cry New Dawn. Both games have very similar gameplay and graphics (FCND is a bit more slick, but it is one year newer): story missions, side missions, loot missions, soldiers for hire etc. I've also noticed that FCND takes a page or two from Fallout 4 in terms of the post apocalyptic universe, settlement creation, workbenches, and even more of an RPG flexible character **** it's not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you're a Fallout fan. All in all, fun FPS/Action/Stealth game that can be played solo or co-op.

I have to say that this game is underwhelming. It looks great in terms of graphics and style (like a combination of Dishonored and Bioshock). However, the shooting mechanics are poor, and it is a boring game. I'm probably going to play a bit more, but it feels like a chore than fun (I did pay a nice coin for it...).

Perhaps I had the wrong expectations. I've found this game to be quite boring. True, at the beginning there is the sense of fear with a few scares, but it seems like that the game doesn't have much more to offer - you are scared because after such a long period of doing nothing you have some crazy opponent jumping on you. I've played 3 hours or so, and added it to the list of expensive AAA titles I'll never play.

Fantastic stealth game. Great story and graphics are great on GTX1070 1080P on ultra. If you played the previous game, you have to get this one, but even if you didn't, this game is great as a stand alone.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided8

Fun action/stealth game: you can either go brutal and blow everyone up, or go stealth with zero killings. You choose. Many side missions, and hidden locations for loot. Graphics were a bit of an issue early on (GTX 1070, 32GB, i7, 1080p resolution grind to a crawl in some scenes), but no issues after the latest patches. One mark goes down to the story: the story is not really engaging - it happens two years after the events depicted in the previous Deus EX, and I find it a little boring. In these type of games you can always dump the story and go to a sandbox mode (e.g. Hitman), but if you go with a story, it has to be compelling. Another mark goes down to the micro-transaction store: FAIL. Please don't enforce this type of things on a full priced AAA title. The only reason I dropped one mark (instead of four...) is that there's no need to buy anything from the store to complete the game in a natural way, and the developer doesn't shove the storefront in your face. It's there in the pause page, but not bugging you.

Is it OK not to like the game? Will I be banished from the internets? I sure hope I won't, cause I've found this game incredibly dull. I was not able to connect to the character(s), and the novelty of running around the streets and punching people to death wears off pretty quickly.

That's the fist COD game I've played, so I can't tell if it's better, worse, or the same as the previous releases. What I can say is, that unless you're looking for a multiplayer experience, there's nothing for you here. I don't care about multiplayer, but since I knew the game has a campaign mode I've decided to purchase it. The campaign gameplay is pretty decent, don't expect a smart enemy like Farcry, but it is interesting, and the screen is simply full of action, But...I was able to finish the entire campaign in 6 hours, which is pretty much the time as it takes to finish DLC in other games.

Great prequel for TNO with new enemies and the same gameplay quality. The story is not as rich as in TNO, but this game is much shorter- which is my only complaint. But for the low cost, it's worth it.
