Gorgeous art style. The character models and animations are smooth. I really appreciate the paper doll system (visual equipment customization).Mechanically, I think it's more challenging than Sea of Stars. The linear narrative was excellent for the first two chapters, but the final chapter abruptly becomes an open world—it feels like an attempt to artificially extend the playtime or simply cash in on the open-world trend. I was totally lost and directionless. Since the map isn't dynamically leveled, it's too easy to get beaten down by mobs. The level of frustration is too high for me to complete the game.
Me just entering Hogwarts: killed a lot of people already. The gameplay feels repetitive, side quests are basiclly killing and killing and finding hidden stuff. The story is full of rubbish, cannot relate a single bit.
NOBODY wants to read your STUPID story! Monster hunter is to HUNT monsters, not to listen to you talking! If I want people to talk and talk and talk, I will go buy visual novels, not this.
No Signature BGM after victory. No cat cooking at all. Is there even a proper reason why you make half the monsters so ungly? Or you just made the changes to disgust players. Minus 1 point just because of this.
Speaking of disgusting, is there even a point of doing a 'spider phobia' setting while two monsters are spiders already? It's like they think 'em all the other companies are doing it so I better do this too' without realising what game they made. Such a wonderful job.
