Sonic and the Secret Rings5
Aug 27, 2026
Absolutely love the soundtrack, but everything else about it, especially the gameplay, ranges from mediocre to atrocious. It's still better than 06, but still not good.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles8
Aug 28, 2026
Symphonia: Still the same wonderful game with additional content such as Mystic Artes and side-quests that were cut from the GameCube version, but now runs at 30 FPS due to being based on the Japan-exclusive PS2 port, which makes battles feel slower and overall clunkier. Dawn of the New World: While this game is mediocre in comparison, it ended up getting the better end of the stick in this remaster due to the leap from the Wii to the PS3 with better graphics and controls. It also runs at 30 FPS, but that is how it ran on the Wii, so there is no difference there.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD10
Aug 27, 2026
The Wind Waker HD quickly became my favorite Zelda game of all time. Even just one of the new items and tweaks to a late-game main quest were enough to right the original's wrongs and make this a very memorable experience for me and others. My only gripes are the game staying at 30 FPS and having a few frame drops (notably with the explosions) but other than that it is a massive upgrade from the original and an experience worth your time.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD9
Aug 27, 2026
While this may not be perfect as a remaster, Twilight Princess is still in my Top 3 Zelda games along with Breath of the Wild at #2 and Wind Waker HD at #1, and it is one of my favorite video games of all time. Even if you have to stick to the Wii version due to the GameCube and HD version's pricing nowadays, it is still a must-play before the afterlife.

Tales of Symphonia10
Aug 27, 2026
(This is a combined review of all versions aside from PS2 and Remastered.)
Tales of Symphonia is my favorite Tales game and JRPG of all time. To this day, it is phenomenal in every way, including the gameplay, which is definitely on the slower and older side. As for which version to go with, I think GameCube reigns superior even though it's missing some content and is a double disc game solely for its native 60 FPS as every other version runs at a less stable 30.

RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army9
Aug 27, 2026
Raidou Remastered is quite literally the best remaster I have played, and it is one that feels more like a remake than a simple remaster. My only real gripe is the camera positioning in the maps but other than that, it is a near-flawless adventure worth experiencing.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)4
Aug 27, 2026
While it is not the absolute worst Sonic game, Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) is the worst mainline Sonic game that fails in every way aside from the soundtrack and the introduction of Silver the Hedgehog. Hopefully he gets his own game soon!

Sonic x Shadow Generations9
Aug 27, 2026
A wonderful return to form for a 3D Sonic game. Sonic Generations was fun to go back to, but Shadow Generations, for sure, topples it.
