Not bad. Mid graphics, but many games that aren't unenjoyable. Not like Switch Sports.

A memorable Smash game with a strong soundtrack, an excellent roster and the ambitious Subspace Emissary campaign. Its slower movement, random tripping mechanic and weaker competitive balance hold it back compared with later entries.

Extremely simple, but almost anyone can understand and enjoy it immediately. Bowling and tennis are still great with friends, although the small number of sports and limited depth make it feel more like a brilliant introduction than a complete sports game.

Jul 30, 2026
An incredible sequel with some of the most flexible mechanics ever put into an open-world game. Building vehicles and experimenting with abilities makes exploration constantly surprising. The reused map and familiar structure stop it from feeling as revolutionary as Breath of the Wild.

Jul 30, 2026
Mario Kart Wii is chaotic, unbalanced and sometimes completely unfair, but that is also part of why it is so fun. The tracks are memorable, the controls feel great once you get used to them, and the multiplayer can keep you entertained for hours. Bikes and certain characters are clearly stronger than everything else, but few racing games are this much fun with friends.

Jul 30, 2026
Super Mario Odyssey is pure fun from beginning to end. Mario controls perfectly, every kingdom is full of creative ideas, and Cappy adds much more variety than I expected. Some moons are too easy or repetitive, and the main story is fairly short, but exploring and mastering the movement stayed enjoyable long after the credits. One of the best 3D platformers ever made.

Splatoon made online shooters feel fresh again. Focusing on covering the map instead of simply getting the most kills was a brilliant idea, and swimming through your own ink makes every match fast and satisfying. The music, weapons and colourful style give the game a lot of personality. It was lacking content at launch and the map rotation could be annoying.

Jul 30, 2026
The movement feels fast and smooth, the world is beautiful, and the boss fights are challenging without feeling unfair. Some areas can be frustrating to navigate but it was better than in the Original Hollow Knight and I was hooked the whole way through. Not perfect, but still an amazing sequel. It was a bit too easy if you only do the main path.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 completely surprised me. The story, music and art direction are incredible, and the turn-based combat feels much more active than I expected. User Scorepeakpeakpeak
Jul 30, 2026
Breath of the Wild is one of the few open-world games where I genuinely wanted to explore every hill, ruin and hidden path. The freedom is incredible, and experimenting with the physics never gets old. Weapon durability can be annoying and the story is a bit thin, but the sense of adventure easily makes up for it. A game I’ll always remember. 10/10.
