I'm about 30 hours into the game and I love it. This game offers an almost prefect immersion into the non-Jedi Star Wars universe. It's only a few planets and cities but it's absolutely enough to get fully absorbed by it. The skills and upgrade system is excellent and such a huge improvement from other open world games that support XP grinding. Moreover the reputation system gives all your decisions in the game a meaning. Beautiful graphics, awesome visual design and excellent background music make the game truly enjoyable. Compared to the EA games plagued by tons of bugs this game is really well playable at launch. I noticed only very few visual glitches here and there that are not game breaking. Overall I think critics should go back and play the game like normal players do with many side quests and not just rushing through to get the review out because others might be faster with their reviews. What a shame! Yes, it's Ubisoft and of course people might have negative feelings about the company but it shouldn't influence their review score. This is a game heavily based on stealth and it fits the story perfectly because you play a criminal. As a thief you are not supposed to slash armies of Stormtroopers. People who criticize that should just go play another game and not rate this game poorly just because they don't like stealth gameplay. The story including all the character setup is well written and Nix, the little pet is the cutest companion ever! When it comes to repetition, another reasons for poor reviews, then it's really a minimum level and not evident when you don't look out for it. The game is really good for what it is.

33 hours into the game and I can't stop playing it! As someone who grew up with Wing Commander or Privateer and enjoyed the Fallout games a few years back this game feels very special. Awesome visuals, monumental music and satisfying quests all over the place. There is so much to explore, level up and collect. Fantastic! The shooting experience is really nice too. Yes, there are glitches or bugs here and there but they are overall rare. The facial animations and character faces feel outdated but on the other hand resemble Fallout. Somehow I also don't care about the loading screens either. Don't listen to the critics. You can have a LOT of fun with this game, especially when you like Sci-Fi.

I bought Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in hopes that I would have great gameplay. But as it turns out, it's anything but great. At first, I was intrigued by the story, but then the tables started to turn and I had to spend an hour getting from one place to another! I thought it would only be like this in the beginning, but to my surprise, it didn't change during the game. You often only have a rusty sword or a club to fight with, which gets broken way too fast, making fighting in the game a hard thing to do. The dialogs, tasks, and story are exciting, but I don't get to see that much of it because I mainly spend my time riding/walking through the world!
I like the Cartoon-style Graffiti overlay visuals. The controls are a bit stiff and feel awkward at the beginning but it's something I got used to. Other than that it's what I would expect from a Need for Speed game. Cops chasing you and racing. Solid game with nice graphics, sounds, and music (that one is a matter of taste though).
I loved the Mad Max game from Avalanche Studios but Rage 2 tops it. The combat feels very Doom-like and the setting is definitely a continuation from Rage 1 that I played many years back so it's a nice feeling overall. The graphics are great and it runs fine on my five year old AMD PC.
Fallout 4 feels like an old game with refreshed graphics. In my opinion open-world games these days shouldn't load when entering a building or a new small area. What saves the game is an excellent story, the 50's like post-apocalyptic retro-future setting and some new elements like the Vertibird helicopters or more focus on the companion characters. On the other hand if there is fuel for the Vertibirds why is there no single vehicle in thr entire Commonwealth? Again this feels like a limitation of an old game engine. The graphics is really good in my opinion but it's full of glitches at least on AMD. In terms of performance the game is terrible. On a high end AMD system you need to decrease shadow draw distance and reduce tesselation to make it playable with the rest on highest settings. Still on places high up in the air the framerate drops dramatically. Clearly a lack of optimisation because there are mods that reduce shadow draw distance dynamically or mods that add distance fog. Both something the developers could have implemented. What shocked me most is the amount of game play bugs. Some quests are almost a year after release and many patches later broken. I had to re-play some quests or just wondered how quirked they were. Often simple things like the weight limit of items you carry stopped working till I reloaded thr game.
You will love the new Doom if you played the original from the 90's. The game has the same unusually high player movement speed like the original. The weapons feel fun effective and accurate. The combat encourages strafing to avoid getting hit and going back in the level to search for power ups or ammo. All these simple things became uncommon in modern tunnel like first person shooters with self healing players. If you never played the early id Software shooters like Wolfenstein or Doom you will probably find this concept refreshing. Technically the game reaches an extreme level of perfection in graphics and sound. The id Tech engine had really a lot of trouble with graphic card drivers in Rage and the new Wolfenstein. Now in the new Doom it finally feels rock solid even on AMD hardware with the Vulkan API. Not much texture popping, nice anti alias etc.
Mad Max is one of the most enjoyable open games I ever played. The world of Mad Max is just highly fascinating and exciting to explore. The graphics is superb and runs on maxed out settings more than fluid. There hasn't been any placed where I experienced stuttering or loading related delays. The car combat is just awesome and never gets boring. The fighting mechanics are very solid too. Most importantly the game never gets really frustrating but without getting too easy. 10 of 10 in my opinion!
This game feels like a completely new Call of Duty! The graphics are much better than previously and the sound has been also improved too. The facial animation is astonishing and having Kevin Spacey as a really good actor in the game is awesome. Moreover the game has been bug free on day-1. This is something where Ubisoft and EA I.e. failed lately! Advanced Warfare doesn't have Nvidia-only features anymore either like the non-sense dynamic fur of the dog in Ghosts! Well done Splash Hammer Games!
I picked this game up in a Steam sales because it looked interesting without any expectations and it blew me away! This game was simply the best cyberpunk experience I ever played. Beautiful artful graphics (Neo Paris looks breathtaking), great electro music especially towards the end of the game and an truly awesome story (especially appealing to someone who has own kids). I completed the story in 15 hours and to me this game didn't feel more repetitive than Assassins Creed or the Batman Arkham games.
The first person shooter is back! Wolfenstein The New Order focuses on one thing: being an excellent first person shooter. The 2009 Wolfenstein by Raven Software tried to introduce an open world game concept but failed badly in the execution. Yes, Wolfenstein The New Order is a CoD-like tunnel-shooter with a lot of scripting and cut scenes but this is what works best for a character like B.J. Blazkowicz. The game feels more like the 2001 Return to Castle Wolfenstein but gives an immense insight in B.J. Blazkowicz's character. In Return to Castle Wolfenstein B.J. didn't say a single word while other characters have been talking. The parallel universe setting with a **** in the 1960's who won WWII in 1946 and even managed to visit the moon creates an extremely interesting environment to explore. The only thing that I missed in Wolfenstein The New Order was actually Hilter as the Ober-Boss. He was in the 1992 Wolfenstein 3D so why not in Wolfenstein The New Order as an old man in a gigantic robot suite? I also feel the game designers could have made more of the Jewish-Atlantis culture but maybe all of this will come in a sequel?
Absolutely great atmosphere and fun game-play. The story pulls you in immediately and keeps evolving in a very engaging way. I didn't expect this game to the that steam punk'ish but it's a great addition to this medieval-like world. The graphics and sound in the game are absolutely awesome and since the game support the new AMD Mantle API I can run it on "Very High" with high frame rates on my AMD FX-6300/7870 system.
I just completed the Crysis 3 singleplayer campain and played a few multiplayer levels after that... the campaign is absolutely intense till the end. There is an epic boss battle you won't forget that quickly and this game has the finest graphics currently around (on PC) and bombastic music. It's a must for every FPS fan out there. The multiplayer is much more enjoyable than in Crysis 2. The energy for maxium armor or cloaking holds longer and that give you more interesting options on how to plan your tactics. Crysis 3 is excellent. I also like the optimization for AMD CPUs and GPUs. I have an FX-6300 and a 6870 and the game ran constantly above 30 frames per second on High settings with SMAA x2.
Assassin's Creed III is pretty addictive and has nice graphics & sound but it's really buggy (much more than Assassin's Creed II). Those are annoying bugs where you sometimes can't take down the wanted poster, can't reach a treasure box because it's buried in the ground or you can go through closed gates. Not to speak of your horse getting stuck between trees. The graphics engine doesn't seem to be well optimized for AMD CPUs/GPUs. I have an FX-6300@4,5GHz and a Radeon HD 6870@985Mhz and sometimes frames per second drop to 25 FPS on full 1080p HD without any obvious reason i.e. at places where there is not much detail or in cities even on lowest quality settings. The game is sponsored by Nvidia so this might explain it. The sea battles are really a highlight of the game and could be even a stand alone game but they are not very well integrated in the story and overall gameplay. Overall I think the open world could be a bit more deep with more things to do, more houses to enter, more NPCs to talk to. More in the direction of a real RPG game.
Great fun for kids and parents! The portal with the characters you can put on it is an awesome idea. The graphics are simple but pretty cute and super smooth. The game play in the story mode is pretty cool and full of nice role playing elements

Absolutely great game with very good and intuitive Kinect controls. The games have perfect graphics that look exactly like the animated movies by Pixar. Excellent. I can recommend to everyone who ever enjoyed Pixar movies and has a Xbox 360 with Kinect.
There are not many games with that much KPM (kaboom per minute ;) ). It's really fun to play this game. Things blow up left and right. Masses of nasty alien bugs await to be terminated. The graphics in the game are simply superb (I'm playing on maxed out settings). This game is also the best evidence you don't need Nvidia PhysX for a good (physically correct) destructive environment.
There is only one word for this game: Amazing! First of all the graphics are amazing in this game. I played a lot of open world games mimicking New York City like Grand Theft Auto IV, Prototype 2 or the previous Spiderman game Web of Shadows and this looks by far the best! Swinging around in the city is absolutely fun but when it comes to fights in the air with robots i.e. this becomes pure awesome action. The boss fights are well made and among the best I have seen. What I like too is the cool patter by Peter Parker. When listening to it you get the feeling he's a really nice guy. Very good game and everyone who enjoyed the comics or movies (BTW: this game has nothing to do with the latest movie ;) ) should get this game!
This game is the disappointment of the the year! Hands off... unless you want to waste your money. It's all the same over again but with a bit more futuristic weapons and surrounding. The graphics is really outdated these days and can't compare to Medal of Honor Warfighter or Battlefield 3. The singleplayer is short and sometimes even a bit ridiculous as it's not authentic at all. The multiplayer is still aimed at the same type of egoistic non-cooperative player type. Don't make the same mistake as I did... don't buy it.
Great atmosphere, solid game-play and great graphics. The Frostbite engine does it's job here. Compared to any Call of Duty game this game looks much better. The single-player campaign plays very smoothly. Don't expect any innovation though maybe except the car chase that feels like a real racing game. The multi-player is awesome and really makes players cooperate.
Huge, beautiful and very well designed maps. New and interesting vehicles like the tank destroyer or the AC-130. The best DLC for Battlefield 3 so far in my opinion.
This movie game does right what most other movie games do wrong. The game fills the gaps between the scenes and makes the playable. The motion controls with the Kinect very well and even small kids get the moves pretty fast. The game is short but very intense. If you liked the Dreamworks Puss in Boots movie you should get this game.
This game is pretty boring. Running "on rails" and shooting stuff isn't exactly what I expected from a full price game. Maybe more from an "Kinect Arcade" title.
This game is basically winter-games (some older of you might remember it from the C64) in an Ice Age 4 setting with the characters from the movie. All of the disciplines are pretty funny, some more and others less. The mini-games are understandable for small kids of around 4-5 years as long as you help them reading the text in the instructions i.e. My daughter (almost 4 years old) loves Ice Age so we bought this game. All together it's pretty funny. Don't expect anything overwhelming though.
I bought Sniper Elite V2 on Steam Sale as I wanted to play a recent WWII game and trailer looked interesting. The level of authenticity of the sniping in the game is just right for me but the enemy AI is just horrible. The enemy soldiers hang sometimes when they try to run and often take the same route just like their comrades took just a second before and got shot. Not very smart. The music int he game is also annoying. The same part repeats far too often. What I like about the game is the graphics with the excellent lightning effects. I play the game in stereoscopic 3D via native AMD HD3D support that adds even more atmosphere. Also the bullet cam is pretty cool especially in stereoscopic 3D.
In my opinion the best Kinect game for both kids and parents. Compared to other Kinect games for children like the Sesame Street game or Carnival Games this by far the best I have seen. The player control of pointing in a direction and running in that direction in the virtual Disneyland is understandable even for a 3 year old child like my daughter. All mini-games are playable in two-player mode and are easy, fun and entertaining. Children who know the Disney characters like Mickey, Minie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy & Pluto from TV can meet them in the game. Not only them... even all the Disney princesses and the Toy Story characters are there!
Deus Ex Human Revolution is a great game with an awesome cyberpunk atmosphere but the technical problems with stuttering on the PC destroy the experience. Eidos and Square Enix never managed to fully fix those. With the latest patches and drivers it got a bit better but the stutter is not gone entirely.
Awesome fun for kids but parents & family as well. My three year old daughter can´t get enough of this game! A must-have for Kinect owners in my opinion. Almost all the minigames are fun and entertaining. The price is fair too.
