This game is realistically probably about a 7.5/8 but there are too many extreme negative reviews. It’s honestly finally a fun Pokemon game (the others are fun for the nostalgia but this one is also genuinely fun). The direction for the battle system is great so I hope they keep this for at least the legends series. I disagree with complaints about the map size - I’d rather a tighter map with more to see than the vast but empty world of Arceus. I’d like to see them take this battle system and increase the size of the game but with a purpose rather than just large for large sake. I do agree with criticisms about the music. While perfectly pleasant, they need more tracks to cycle through.

I was surprised at how big this game was. For $25, I overlooked the lack of polish, but I was not expecting to get so much content and side stories. The pixel art was beautiful, the gameplay was fun, and the stories were entertaining. It was a little hard to follow at times but overall a great game I can't wait to replay!

This was a great game! The story is so fresh and unexpected. I loved the gameplay but was itching to get through to story to figure out what was going on. I was constantly balancing playing just one more piece of side content because I was having fun playing versus pushing the story to finally learn what was happening - the mark **** video game! I hope the devs continue off of this success! My 2 critiques are 1. That there is audio cracking throughout the game that seems to be a consistent issue people have which is unfortunate because the audio is incredibly and 2. That I wish they spent a bit more time fleshing the world out. Without spoilers I wish they had line an hour more of dialogue peppered throughout to tie it a bit more neatly.

I can't in good conscience recommend this game in its current state. It defies the laws of physics in that it both has terrible textures and graphics and yet also runs like garbage... and that's with a 4090 and i9. They also nerfed the gameplay loop with the seikret and scoutflies. The autorunning on the seikret takes away all of the exploration, and the scoutflies serve no purpose since monsters show up on the map. I'm very disappointed because I was excited for a great new Monster Hunter game but this just makes me wish I was playing World. I stopped at the first credits because I couldn't take it any longer. It's a shame because there's a lot of potential there, so if Capcom can at least fix the visuals/performance, I'd look forward to giving it another shot; but right now, it needs more time in the oven.

It was a cute game overall and has very fun gameplay. Not AAA but it was worth the price.

This blows the first game out of the water, and that says a lot! The new features were very thoughtfully implemented and well done. The story is excellent, the voice acting is phenomenal, and the characters are very well developed. There are some bugs but nothing game breaking at all.

A great wrap-up to the story line! Didn’t think Shadowbringers could be topped but this did it!

I was shocked by how much I loved this game. It's definitely outside my typical genre but I decided to give it a try. It's easily in my top 3 games played in 2020, and maybe even this decade. I would definitely give this game a try if you're considering it!

If you love looking at Ubisoft's loading screen, this is the game for you! I played a couple of hours of this game and really enjoyed it. Then, went to bed. The next morning when I went to go play again, I couldn't get past the loading screen. Nothing changed, nothing updated. It just decided to stop working. I tried everything from rebooting, closing background apps, re-installing, etc. Not worth the money until developers start releasing games that actually work on launch.

Let me start by saying that I love Borderlands. However, Borderlands 3 stutters beyond belief to unplayable levels. I am running the latest hardware and refuse to play past the 1st mission due to the stuttering. I can't comment on the story because I haven't been able to get into it. Hopefully they patch this but it's been buggy since launch with no fix so I am not hopeful. Developers need to stop launching flawed games.
