Im annoyed that this is the movie I chose to go see. I feel like my IQ was just lowered. I loved the cast and the overall story, but the humor was stupid, raunchy, gross bathroom humor that I personally don't care for. Maybe when I was 18. I will say that most of the rest of the theatre was laughing hysterically, so I guess its just me. I would love to see the same movie again with more intelligent humor.

This is a really incredible story, I'm a little surprised to see kind of mediocre critic reviews. I put it on Netflix, planning to semi-watch while I was working, instead I was drawn into the movie and stared at the TV the whole time. I thought it was really great, I love really moving true stories like this. I kept thinking about it long after.

I really enjoyed this movie. I kinda want to watch it again, which is a good sign that it's a great movie. The humor is more of a subtle, witty humor more so than laugh out loud humor, so don't expect anything zany. I really liked the characters and the story is very sweet and heart warming, and it was awesome to find out at the end that it's based on a true story.

I liked it, I didn't love it. It was a very well done movie, just not totally my cup of tea. I like action and/or superhero movies to have a good amount of comic relief to break up the seriousness and action, and this movie had only a very minor amount of that. Some people like that, but for me, it just makes it a little tedious to watch when there's not enough. I also prefer movies with relatable characters, and Diana, even though she's a woman, is a little hard to relate to. For most people, this probably wouldn't have bothered them, but there's just certain things I need in a movie to really take me from just liking it to loving it, and it wasn't quite there. Glad I saw it, I really loved watching such a bad ass female super hero, but I probably wouldn't watch it again.

I was expecting to like Emma Watson as Belle, but in the first minute of the movie, she starts to sing, and you can hear the auto tune they had to use on her voice to make it sound ok. It was THAT obvious. This trend of casting big name actors in musicals just for the billing disgusts me. There's a thousand broadway actresses who could have done that part a million times better. I would much rather have watched the movie with some no-name actress with a fantastic singing voice. However, Luke Evans as Gaston was fantastic and Josh Gad as Le Fou was funny, too. They kinda saved the movie. I did also like that they added in a few more songs. I would watch it again, but fast forward through every scene where Emma Watson is singing.

I quite enjoyed this movie, and I wasn't expecting much as I didn't even know much about Captain America before watching the two movies. I'd say this one is better than the first movie. They're sooooo different, which you know if you saw the first one, since the end of it leads into the second movie. I really liked the Bourne Identity sort of vibe I got from it.

Reminded me a lot of Kill Bill. If you're not into excessive extreme violence, don't watch this movie. If you are, you'll love it. The movie had a lot of good qualities, but it just sort of went to **** at the end, imo. I'm not really into watching hundreds of people being massacred for fun, but that's just me. I liked the plot and the characters, but I think the violence was too ridiculous and distasteful. Also, the movie is super negative towards **** Obama gets his head blown off, and that's supposed to be funny?

My biggest pet peeve in movies and TV is when there's no comic relief. A serious tone throughout is exhausting and it makes me not want to watch it. There's too many superhero movies like this. This is not one of them. We loved the movie. We saw it last night, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. I would gladly go see it again while still in theatres. It is very rare that I ever would want to do that, so that means the movie was good. It was very entertaining. Kept my interest throughout. I thought it had a perfect mix of comedy, action, and drama. I loved the soundtrack. Rocket Racoon's special effects were great. I joked that they must have spent all their money on this because the makeup on some characters was a bit subpar. It looked like they didn't hire enough makeup people and they rushed through certain characters. Makeup aside, this is a very entertaining movie, you should go see it. Just please, don't stay for the scene after the credits, it was so stupid. Everyone else sat and waited, and it was so dumb, there was a huge sigh of "ughhhh" throughout the theatre. Don't waste your time. But the rest of the movie was great (including the scene that happens near the beginning of the ending credits.)

Such a bizarre movie, I'm really not sure how to rate it. Before watching this movie, you absolutely need to know that this is a parody of romantic comedies. If you're expecting a standard romantic comedy, you're going to be really confused. The movie extremely outwardly and blatantly makes fun of itself throughout. It's very bizarre, but if you know what to expect, it is very funny. I laughed out loud many **** also yelled things like "what the hell?!?" at the TV several times because weird things kept happening that wouldn't in real life with real people. Characters break the fourth wall making it hard to believe that the characters are real people, so empathy is difficult, so this movie is mainly just for the laughs. It has a fantastic cast with more familiar faces than I could name. Throughout the whole thing, I kept thinking "This really reminds me a lot of Wet Hot American Summer." Afterwards, I looked it up, and yep, I was right, same writer and director....partially the same cast (with lots of other people we all know from assorted sitcoms showing up.) So, if you're a fan of Wet Hot American Summer, like quirky comedies, and like to laugh at the conventions of typical romantic comedies, then the movie is worth watching.

This movie had good things and bad. I'm a fan of Superman in general, so there's always something I'd like about a Superman movie. It had some exciting moments. However, this adaptation was missing a lot of the classic elements that make superhero stories so likable. The biggest thing that bugged me is that he never has a secret from Lois. She knows that he has super powers from the night she meets him, and she knows him as Clark soon after. Also, the two of them had little dialogue during the movie, so it was weird when they got together at the end. I kept thinking "but you don't even really know her..." and we really didn't as the audience either. We got the Kal-El/Clark Kent backstory, but other than that, there was little character development. They didn't feel like real people we cared about. This movie focused a lot on action and didn't have time for dialogue or **** some people like the action scenes, but I personally am not into that. I care more about the characters and that they have believability as real people. One of the critiques I hear a lot from people comparing super heroes is that they don't like superman because he's too perfect and inhuman. This movie has more ****, dark Clark Kent, so I guess he's more human in a way, but he seemed like a cold, brooding jerk, and not like someone I wanted to know. I would prefer to see the Superman franchise go for more of a likable, relatable Clark Kent.

This movie ****. It was slow, dull, sappy, overly sentimental...I was so bored. I understand it was a romantic drama, and maybe that's just not my cup of tea, but I thought it needed more light hearted laughs to keep my interest. Not much happened, and it was mainly a real downer. I did like the actors, so that's one good thing, but I felt like this movie was a waste of money overall. I should have watched something else.

Writing is very witty and funny, laughs the whole time. So many clever things they thought to incorporate. The only criticism I have is that while the twist at the end was a fun surprise, it made it seem a little anticlimactic.

It was **** laughed a good amount, but it didn't really bring anything new and interesting to the table that first one didn't have. It had a whole different plot, so new things did happen, but the characters were very predicable for anyone who's seen the first one. Nothing surprised us. Brick was funny, but not hysterical like last time in the first movie because we already knew the sort of funny lines to expect from him. It was entertaining, but I would have been okay with just watching it on Netflix rather than in the theatre. If you liked the first one, it's worth seeing, but IMO it wasn't really amazing enough to rush to the theatre as soon as it came out.

Very funny, entertaining **** I think it's probably not as good as Knocked Up. The most negative thing I can say is that it's super weird and awkward that Katherine Heigl's character from Knocked Up, Alison, is not even mentioned. I mean in Knocked Up, they're so close that Alison lives with her sister Debbie (Leslie Mann) and brother-in-law Pete (Paul Rudd), but in This is 40, she's gone and not even mentioned? I mean maybe she moved away, but would they really pretend she doesn't exist? In the movie, we meet Debbie's father, and learn about her childhood, still no mention of her sister, Alison. Kind of weird. But, despite this, it's a funny movie. It is slightly long, but never slow or boring. Has a good amount of R-rated-ness for those that like their comedies a little less squeaky clean and a bit more adult.

I think this was a well done adaptation. It is very conceptual and as fantastical as this story could have been. Each scene transition took them back into a theatre as if we were watching a play, and then it would often transform into real life from a stage with backdrops. There's also many scenes where the characters are in a theatre audience, but are in a setting that wouldn't actually be in a theatre, eg the horse race scene. I think the point of this was to keep it interesting and intriguing, since this could have been a very boring movie. They did a good job keeping it from being boring. I loved looking at all the beautiful costumes, which is always the best part of a period movie. I would recommend the movie, just don't expect to come out of it in a cheery mood. It's far from a comedy.

Oh God, so cheesy! It exhausting watching that much cheese. I've read the books, so I already knew what was going to happen, but somehow it doesn't seem that cheesy until you see bad actors act it out with angsty piano music. That being said, it certainly wasn't worse than the other movies. Oh, wait, except for a suger creepy CGI baby. WTF? Can't you just use a real baby? I don't care what the book says, it having teeth isn't really that important, just use a real baby. People in the theatre were "aww"-ing like it was cute. It's not cute, it's face is covered in poorly done CGI. Atleast Renesmee doesn't stay a baby for long. The climax and ending were well done until a lame montage of Edward+Bella moments from the whole series at the very end. No one needs to see that, they've all seen all the movies.

I enjoyed this movie, although I wish it had something new to offer. It was very similar to the first movie, Bourne Identity, in several ways, almost as if they took that script, changed just a few things, and recast it. Ok, it's definitely not exactly the same, but it was very reminiscent. Also, as a huge fan of Matt Damon, it was sad to watch it with them referring to Jason Bourne a million times, and the character not actually being there. That being said, I found it enjoyable (cameras every so slightly less shaky than previous movies...I know that has bothered a lot of people), and I'd say it's worth seeing in the theatre. Also, I've always loved Rachel Weisz, so she added a lot to the movie in my books.

I loved it and hated it at the same time. I don't think it was as good as Spider-Man or Spider-Man 2...Spider Man 3 ****, so it was better than that one. I think if you're going to reboot a series so soon, you should only do it if the former **** and needed to be redone. I don't think the 2002 Spider-Man needed to be redone. I'm all for more Spider-Man movies with a new actor in a new universe, that's just fine, but 75% of this movie was just his origin story that we just saw in 2002 Spider-Man. I was just sitting there thinking "yeah, I know, move on already" for 90 minutes. Yeah, a few details were different...I think they could have changed more. I could also tell that this movie was very geared towards teenagers and the MTV crowd, and that made it seem stupid to me. The Twilight preview before the movie didn't help. Neither did the girls screaming "woo" in the theatre when Peter and Gwen kissed. Please. I also HATE cheesy 3D tricks, and this movie ended with the stupidest "this would look cool in 3D!" trick ever. It it so stupid and cheesy and not quality cinema. I don't give a crap about 3D! I just want to see a movie with real characters and a story, not watch Spider-Man shoot a web right at my face just because it would look cool in 3D. So enough venting, there were things I liked. One thing I did like was that they did a more humorous take on Spider-Man. This one definitely was funnier that the previous series. They also were obviously going for a more realistic character, as even as Spider-Man he was still clumsy, and his climbing and jumping was more human and less overdone with CGI. They also allowed the suit to look like real clothing, and not digitally enhanced. You could see wrinkles and I think even a zipper. How "perfect" the spidey suit always looked in the previous movies always bugged me. So, I kind of liked the new one, even though it seemed unpolished, since that's what they were going for. Overall it was entertaining and worth seeing, but most of the movie was unnecessary and redundant.

It was okay. It started off good, but then there was too many plot lines and back stories, and it kind of fell apart. It was very rushed, and the characters seemed very superficial. It was like they were trying to cram years of a TV show into one 2 hour movie. I've never seen the TV show, so I don't know if the movie was merely the same premise, or if the whole plot was straight from the TV show, but it sure seemed like I was watching a soap opera. It was extremely melodramatic and soap opera-y. Yes, it was a former soap opera, but I hopeful that the movie would just be using the same premise to create something better and deeper than that. That didn't really happen. It seemed like the movie was written 8 hours long, and they just cut most of it out and awkwardly patched the rest together. At the beginning, we got so much of Victoria that it seemed like the movie was being told from her point of view, but then she disappears for much of the rest of the movie. It was weird, and I wasn't really feeling the relationship between her and Barnabas. That being said, it was humorous and fairly **** much as a soap opera can be.

I thought this movie brought the book to life better than any Harry Potter ever did. There were some things taken out, edited, or added in from the book, and I found myself thinking "that's not right!" several times, but I understand that things have to be changed for a film audience to understand the movie and for it to not be 6 hours long. Considering, I thought it was pretty loyal to the book. The only thing I didn't like being cut down was Katniss's time with Rue. There were also a few things not explained thoroughly that my boyfriend, who has no read the books, was confused by. So, maybe a little much was cut out. I appreciated that there was an artistic vision apparent in the movie, evident in camera work, sound editing, costume design, etc, although I felt at times they didn't follow through sufficiently. For example, the movie starts out with very shaky camera work with lots of "too close" shots, which I liked because it gave it a very gritty real feel, but this was mostly dropped after the first 15 minutes or so. I suppose they thought it may have gotten annoying after a while, which is probably true. There was also some sound and film editing that indicated that we're seeing the movie through Katniss's eyes (as in the book), but then there were scenes added in that didn't exist in the book, like how it kept cutting back to Gale watching the games on TV and the commentators explaining things like the trackerjackers. Those scenes certainly aren't from Katniss's point of view. So, the artistic vision of the film seemed a little inconsistent. It just wasn't pushed quite far enough. It was like the director wanted to do something really artistic, but chickened out. That being said, I think it was a good movie. I enjoyed it as much as the book (although the cave scenes were extra cheesy with music added, and the 400+ person theatre audience was laughing hysterically...that wasn't really the idea...) and I'm glad I saw it. I saw it 2 days ago and am still thinking about it. I can only hope that with the next movie, the director really pushes it farther and creates a full artistic vision rather than getting caught up in simply recreating the book.

The plot is pretty simple, and very close to that of Singing in the Rain, but it feels creative and different because it's a silent movie **** just a movie about them. I feel like if it wasn't a silent movie in black and white, it would have gotten only modest reviews. It's pretty much the most interesting thing about it. I did like the movie, but I found myself comparing it to Singing in the Rain the whole time, which is one of my favorite movies and is much funnier and more entertaining. This movie is amazing. Although, I feel like the title is a bit of a misnomer and the movie is misadvertised, because I thought it was going to be about a group of bridesmaids going to a bachelorette party (more like the Hangover), but it's really just the story of Kristen Wiig's character, who happens to be the maid of honor. It's actually nothing like the Hangover at all, there's not even a bachelorette party in the movie. But, that's really what made the movie great, and unique. It's a bit ridiculous at times, and Kristen Wiig never strays far from her characters on SNL, but it's still really funny and greatly entertaining. I do have to say that if you do not like Kristen Wiig on SNL, you may not like this movie. There are so many funny parts that I can't remember them all, which makes me want to see the movie again.
