This game is crap. The only part I liked about the game was the intro which actually featured commentary, unlike the actual game, and the graphics were decent. But anyways, I'm a big cricket fan, and was excited about playing it, when I realized how hard it was. It wasn't even normal hard, it was HARD. Even on easy, the AI would absolutely choose whenever to torture you when you bowl good deliveries or take a stupid leave and get bowled when you bowl bad deliveries. The animations are so annoying and there's only like two or three of them, and even those are just so unrealistic and crappy. There is 3rd umpire but there is no replay for the 3rd umpire, which ****. Also, the fielding is a pain in the butt, because the runners are so slow, and whenever the ball is thrown to the wicketkeeper, most of the times he jumps and takes a one handed catch, while looking like he's going to knock the bails off even when the batsman is way in. Also, when a ball is being thrown in, it takes forever to reach. Oh, and there is no license/ edit names option that Ashes has, which really ****. You can pick a random country and add your own players to it, but the uniform is the same for all of them, which ****, but oh well. The sound effects aren't very good, because all the batsman says when calling for a run is "yep", so there's not any variety, which just really adds to how bad this game is. If you put time into it, though, you will learn to bat eventually, but that doesn't fix all the problems. Last but not least, the way a delivery is bowled is not like how it's bowled in real life and again, there is no different delivery styles, so that again shows the lack of detail put into this game by the developers. If you're a cricket fan, like I am, I wouldn't recommend this game to you, unless you're really desperate for a cricket game, and would be willing to try to overlook the many flaws.
A 5 is a good rating for this game. Despite all its problems, it's playable and will keep you occupied on the go. Crappy game though. Atleast there's different modes..
I actually had fun at first playing this game. I like the sounds, but then it got really hard, and I just gave up. Not one of my favourite stick games.
What can I say.. I fell into the hype. Wasted a lot of time playing this game. Mainly just to show off to my friends my high score. Tbh, it's not really THAT fun.. just addictive when you're competing with friends.
This is a really good game for when you're on a road trip. There are some great modes, and it's free, to top it off. Really fun. If you're a cricket fan, this is a must have. Even if you're not, you're gonna have fun.
I liked the modes. The controls weren't too good, but it was a fun game for me back in the days. Played it on my friend's PSP, so not too much to say about it, but I had fun.
I remember playing this game when I was like 5 years old.. LOL. Fun. Probably the best GTA game in my opinion. Tommy killed it. Don't know why they didn't bring him back. The graphics are great, and the story.. just incredible.
A fun party game to play with your friends or family. It was my first game for my 360, and I only played it once, as I was in a rush to get a game that worked with a controller, but I had a lot of fun with it. Play it with a friend.
I torrented it online. I had a lot of fun playing it. The online mode was bleh, plain, but atleast they included online, which was great, and I had a ton of fun with that until there were issues with my computer, not the game, and I had to delete it. Oh, and also, only England and Australia has real player names, but you can edit the names which are good, and if you're a cricket fan, the names are pretty obvious, just scrambled up randomly.
You can't really give this game a bad rating, because it's designed for you to play with family and friends, and it does that well. Sometimes, the KINECT gets frustrating with not detecting your movements, but that's the kinect, not the game. Good party game. Whenever you have friends over or wanna play a good sports game with your family, pop this in. I would have liked basketball to be included but that's alright.
Considering this game was released in 2001, you wouldn't thinnk so playing it. I had a lot of fun with it, and the graphics were great. It deserves its 10/10 rating!
I don't know how it got so much positive reviews.. possibly because it was released in 2003 and it was a great game compared to the standards of then? Well, I hated this game. Bought it for $15, played 5 minutes of it, never wanted to see it again.
I guess I'm a part of the minority when I say that I like this game. But, I have only played 3 Need For Speed games on the PS2, so I guess that's why a lot of people didn't like this game. But, I, myself played a ton of it.
How this game only got an 82 metascore rating is beyond me. A 10 doesn't do this game justice. This game was perfection. The graphics were INCREDIBLE. The storyline was appealing. It was perfect. And top that with the fact that it came in 2005, makes you just enjoy it that much more.
This was actually a really fun game.. ofc, lots of glitches and bugs, and the mini games were hard (well, atleast for me) but it's fun, and that's enough for me to give it a 8/10.
What can I say, it was a pretty good game, but never really stuck around with me. Only logged in about an hour and a a half. Might pop it in my 360 soon.
This was a very fun game, but unfortunately, I only put 7 or so hours into it because it wasn't very deep. Fun game though. If you're into UFC, and don't have a next-gen console, this is the game for you.
I have had this game for over a year now, and am still playing it. Probably have logged in about 50 hours already and is still hooked as ever. That should say enough.
I don't understand the harsh critic reviews. I was very excited about getting this game, and it didn't disappoint. I loved the Road to Wrestlemania backstage roaming and put tons of valuable honours into that mode. There is the WWE Universe mode with its great cut scenes and there is also a LOT of characters.
I was pretty hyped up about getting this game. Unfortunately, after about an hour put into it, I got frustrated because it was really hard and never played it since. Wouldn't recommend it to the casual gamer.
Man, this was the **** Had a ton of fun with this game despite its glitches. Only bad thing is, my season froze halfway through. :( Considering I got it for $1, it was definitely worth my time and money.
I bought this game when it released, and had high hopes for it, but was simply disappointed. Was expecting there to be more teams, and the commentary was pretty bad.
I don't get why the metascore is so low, considering when this game was released, and the fact that it was on the PSP. There were glitches, but I still had fun and put a lot of hours into this game. The icing on the cake was the World Baseball Classic mode, which made me log in about 5 hours just for that mode alone.
IGN was harsh on pounding this game for having long loadtimes because that doesn't describe the experience itself. Just some patience required. However, this game was very frustrating for me, in a way that made me determined to complete it, despite it having long loadtimes, and it took me a LONG time to complete, but it was worth it in the end. This is an entertaining game.
