Part comedy, part utopian allegory and farce, it's a journey through place and time, showing how simple things connect us all together, regardless of who we are and where we are from. Even if one is not familiar with the intricate cultural differences of the many nationalities coming together on the film's metaphorical island, its message is clear and the journey worth taking -- it makes this "Bourek" immensely enjoyable!
