Yet another great game from Retro! This game improves upon the Wii game in every aspect. Graphics, characters, sound, music, level design, and controls are spot on. This game is a challenge though. If you are easily frustrated from failing then this game may not be for you. If you are up to a challenge though, you will be rewarded with an excellent experience. The think the best thing about the game is the level design. There're challenging but never cheap. when you finish a level with all the collectibles you feel a great sense of accomplishment. One level that stands out is a Savannah like level where you're actually trapped in a tornado. You jump from one piece of debris to another piece of debris while being tossed through the storm. It's a very unique level and is only once example of the brilliantly design levels.

The best in the series for sure! One of the best games on the Wii U for sure! One of the best looking games on any system! The tracks are brilliantly designed and each one feels unique. The tracks are bright, colorful, and beautiful. The music that accompanies each track is perfect and you'll have them stuck in your head for days. I believe they are performed by an orchestra. Every character that you care about from the world of Mario are present. I could have done with less baby characters and a few more Mario enemies but they don't take away from anything. The controls are perfect. I prefer the classic style of control but the motion control is included and has been improved upon Mario Kart Wii's motion controls. The online features have also been improved and there are a lot more options when racing online then in past games from the series. Since release, it's been announced that DLC is on the way that will bring Link and Animal Crossing characters; and both additional track and karts to the game in the future. Stop questioning if the Wii U has games. Buy a Wii U and buy this game!

Rayman Legends offers a lot of game for the bucks. There is so much content in this game. Not only do you have the overall game but you get mini games, and both daily and weekly challenges where you can compete with others over the net for the best score. The music is quirky in a good way and is very unique. You'll be humming or whistling for days after you're done playing. the platforming and level design is really good. It's a challenge but yet it's not cheap. The controls are good. The characters are cute and there are a lot of them to choose from. Although they are merely skins. The different character do not play differently from one another as far as I can tell. The gameplay can be so frantic and fast that it doesn't always make the multiplayer gameplay work well. This game is really good but it's not as good as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze or Mario. If you like platformers and you've finished those other games then you should grab this game and give it a try.

Easily one of the best games on the Wii U. Mario and friends have never looked better. The levels are beautiful and colorful. Nintendo finally figured how to add multiplayer game play into a 3D Mario game and make it fun. Playing with 3 other players is lot of fun and brings back fond memories of playing 4 player games on the N64. Nintendo also figured out how to make the 3D Mario games feel like the 2D Mario games. The exploration is not prevalent like it is in the past 3D Mario games but the frantic style of the 2D game is everywhere. While I like the exploration of past games, the style in this game is a very fresh take on the series. The powerups are very fun and you can't get enough of cat Mario. Like other Mario games, there are a ton of levels. This plus the multiplayer gives this game a lot of replay value.

I skipped this game when it was first released on the Xbox 360. Action games like this are not usually my thing but the demo of Bayonetta 2 changed that. After playing through the demo a few times I was hooked and ready to hand my money over. To add to the value of the game, Nintendo and Platinum released the original with Bayonetta 2 for free! Anyways, Bayonetta plays brilliantly and the "last generation" graphics are better then most people give it credit for. The Wii U only updates/improvements make the game even funner. The controls are very intuitive and responsive. The story is unique as well as the characters. My only gripe would be the camera at times doesn't always place itself in the best spot and positioning it doesn't help during the action. It's not horrible and does not take away from the game much and I've played games with a worst camera. I can't wait to play the improved sequel!

I had so much hope for Scram Kitty before it was released. However, after downloading the game, I can honestly say that I'm disappointed. It's very unique and I'll give credit where credit is due. The graphics are fine. The characters are really cool. The idea of the game play is awesome. Where I run into problems is the controls. It's almost like the developer made the controls clunky on purpose to add to the difficulty but all I get out of it is frustration. In fact, I get so frustrated at the controls that I don't want to play it anymore despite it's good qualities. Maybe they'll do a sequel and fix the controls and game play.

I would not call Tomodachi Life much of a video game. It's a time waster life sim, but it's really good at this. It's very funny at times and it's cool to jump on and update all the Miis living on your island; but when it's all said and done, there's no end or ultimate goal that you're trying to accomplish; you're merely playing with Miis and putting them in funny situations. The street pass function is good, and I would say that this is better in this then other games. When two Miis have a baby, the baby grows into a child and can then travel to other people's islands via street pass. You also receive new clothing items via street pass.
