Excellent show. It represents a significant but well-integrated expansion of the Alien universe. The Hybrids are a fascinating choice of direction, yet a very logical one.
This is a great show. It is gracefully paced, the fight scenes are impressive, the artistic direction and effects are spot on, and the acting is consistenly on point. Dawson in particular is a tremendous choice for Ahsoka at this stage in her life, bringing both gravitas and a sly sense of humour, as well as having the look down cold. As I'm sorry to see so many one-note negative reviews, let me add that as male fan of Star Wars since the original release of what became known as A New Hope, I'm delighted to see a female-centric series. And the Star Wars universe is big enough that those who can't abide by strong female leads can find their happy place elsewhere. It's your loss.
I hope our future contains the option to inhabit other worlds as depicted in Foundation. Maybe then all those who feel threatened seeing anyone other than cis white Christian men on TV can go live on their own manly planet. As for Foundation, it is lush, beautiful and thoughtful. I look forward to season 2!
