The scores really surprised me, but I guess I can see how people may dislike this game. I really admire the whole steampunk style of this game, especially what the characters are seen wearing. The graphics are outstanding, and really demonstrate what the next generation has to offer. Gameplay, especially the gunplay, are very fluent and satisfying. Lastly, the game has an outstanding well structured story and you really develop an attachment to a lot of the characters. Definitely my game of the year 2015 so far.
After having this game recommended to me, I picked it up for Christmas and binge played it for the next two days. Despite me disliking the previous Far Cry, I loved this game. It has so much variety. From exploring the mysterious and beautiful lands of Shangri La to kicking ass in Kyrat, this game has so much to offer. The villain of this game lacks spark. No famous quote to the name like the definition of insanity by Vaas. The decisions are very challenging to make and I had to rack my brains for 5 minutes beforehand. Although, I felt this game was a bit "up in your face" at times. When you capture an outpost, there is a prisoner in binds shouting and pleading for mercy and he or she has some annoying mission you have to do. Any time you enter that damn building, they keep saying "HELP SAVE MY FAMILY!!!!" and there's that guy planning a mission outside like "NO THIS IS NOT GONNA WORK!!!! I NEED SOMEONE FOR THIS MISSION *COUGH*". It was a bit overwhelming. Overall, good game. Buy it.
Alright, so I pick up fifa 15 at the store. How bad could it be, right? I played fifa 14 with a friend and thought it was okay. So I come home and begin playing it and OH MY GOD. THE GAME IS **** BROKEN. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TEST THE GAME OR EVEN MAKE SURE THE PHYSICS WERE WORKING AT ALL. THE MATCH KEPT STOPPING FOR MINUTES ON END WITH THE CAMERA STARING AT PEOPLE'S FACES AND THE PHYSICS GLITCHED THE **** OUT. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT IT WAS THE EXACT. SAME. ****. GAME! THE EXACT SAME AS LAST YEAR, AND THE YEAR BEFORE! AND WHEN I SAW THIS "ULTIMATE EDITION" FOR 80 EUROS I JUST FLIPPED THE **** OUT AND BURNED THE GAME ON THE STAKE. NEVER. AGAIN. Good things? Graphics are okay. Fun to play with friends. And that's **** it.
Although this game doesn't live up to the EXTREME hype over the last few months, this still doesn't deserve a cluster of 0-2's. I predict the majority of those giving this game an extremely low score are butthurt PC gamers who are not used to getting their way, considering this game is console exclusive for now I think. PC gamers should realise they sometimes aren't going to get their way and should stop acting like children. Grow up. The gameplay is disappointing. I think the majority of the missions are "Defend your moron ghost doing a hacky-thingy on the consoley-thingy while several waves of bullet sponges try to prevent you from doing so!". Even though the missions are repetitive, they really didn't bother me at all. I enjoyed them thoroughly. But sometimes if the mission is different from that, it can be more enjoyable. The weapons and the PvP are VERY satisfying. The guns are meaty and just overall have a great feel to them. I honestly thought there could have been a larger variety to enemies, considering the massive budget and the huge hype. All there seems to be is fallen thingies and a few unimportant guys that you have to shoot and scoot. But what makes up for all of those negativites are the AMAZING graphics. This game is VERY pretty. The cutscenes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and well designed. Even during gameplay, you'll come along a beautiful sight that'll put you in awe. The soundtracks for this game, heard in the "SET DESTINATION" hub are just amazing. Sometimes I would just stop playing and listen to the music play on while I occupy myself. The universe itself is also amazing and very interesting, There's also a great sense of accomplishment to being awarded some loot, or a rank up. Those are my thoughts to the game, and PLEASE stop with the 0 spam. This game does not deserve it. Be reasonable and do not be extremely biased with your opinions.
It's a pretty good game. The multiplayer is very enjoyable, as per usual. But what really pisses me off about battlefield 4, and also battlefield 3 is that EA think they can just poop out a really bad singeplayer and think that the fans don't care because all they want is the multiplayer. Keep in mind, for most first person shooters the multiplayer maps, the teams and even the characters that you play as are 100% based off the single player. It's like EA aren't even trying anymore and the battlefield games are gradually getting worse and worse.
This game is just complete and utter rubbish. First, the characters are idiotic, including the main character. Whoopidy freaking doo I'm massacring thousands of soldiers holding a city down in martial law, let's make a funny joke about that. AHAHAHA no. The main character is just a cliché typical "bad boy". And when the girl came into the story I was like "oh god this isn't going to end well" The story is very badly made. I felt nothing for any character, and there was a real lack of superpowers in this game. Overall, it's just bad bad bad but I give it 2 points for it's use of the controller sound thing and the alright visuals.
When I first heard of watch dogs, I thought it was going to be another GTA5. Another really hyped up game with a boring storyline and **** characters. But I was wrong. At first, watch dogs seemed very enjoyable. Even though I was bad at it at first, I improved in the long run. The missions I found quite repetitive. You go into some restricted area, kill bad guys, and something happens. And the character development is **** I didn't feel any emotion when Clara died, or when Aiden's family had to move away from Chicago. Other than that, the game is perfect. Now, one thing that REALLY pisses me off is the final mission. THEY **** BOTCHED THE FINAL MISSION! You just go around to three cliché hacking things and stand near them while hacking them. The twist is, you have the entire police force on your ass and if you shoot them, it ruins your reputation. So you have to stand near a stupid hacking thing while being chased by a seemingly infinite amount of helicopters and cars. This mission is ****, and I am yet to complete it.
Just a pure amazing game. There is so few flaws. I really liked the customisation in this game. There is a wide range of clothing and powers you could put on weapons and armour, which is personally one of the best things in the game. The combat system I really enjoyed. There was so many tactics you could do. Consumables, ranged weapons, **** goes on and on. This game is also very humorous. I'm from Europe, and on a quest, they pulled off censoring very well. An EU flag shows up in the background with a statue facepalming and elevator music playing, and text appears explaining that Europe would not allow this. They did state what happened in the scene. I practically burst out laughing. Anyways, overall this game is just amazing. One thing that did frustrate me was that I got stuck on a few puzzles but that's just because I'm bad at puzzles.
When I bought this game, I didn't expect such a big plot twist. Seriously? From a street gang trying to get big to fighting aliens invading Earth? I'm confused. This seemed like a DLC of Saints Row the Third, not an entire sequel. It's the exact same map, almost the exact same guns and the exact same cars. It's like call of duty. I liked the super powers, even though they were a VERY odd addition. I noticed that the superpower which allows you to run very fast is just one from the DLCs of SR3. They obviously didn't put any effort into this game. The guns are very meaty, and I like them a lot. I also enjoy the humour in the game. They could have done much much better. New map? New cars? New guns? So much they could have done. I'm overall disappointed.
Terrible game. The same as the last, what is it? 20 fifa games? THEY'RE ALL THE **** SAME! All EA do is update the graphics, and if people moved to other teams, switch them around, then add new physics or whatever, and like 1 gamemode and act like they care about the fans. THIS GAME IS ASS. JUST BUY ONE FIFA THEY'RE ALL THE SAME.
Very good singleplayer. Infinity ward did a good job on making all of the characters unique and and special in their own ways. The dog was a great addition to the game. I like how infinity ward took a whole different approach to this game. Not the usual run and gun, kill this villain, your team mate dies oh no. This was entirely different. I had great faith that infinity ward would make a good comeback, after all of those terrible games they made before. The multiplayer is a different story. It's the same god damn thing, just with some create a soldier and extinction which **** hard and was a huge disappointment. I overall enjoyed the singleplayer, but infinity ward need to work on their multiplayer. The lean feature is pretty useless but the sliding is pretty cool. I don't understand why people hate it so much. They're just so butthurt that it's the most bestselling first person shooter of all time and that it's not as perfect as battlefield or halo.
This game is good and bad in some ways. The map is very well made and has many areas to explore. The characters are also amazing and are different in millions of ways. I really enjoy the guns, as well as the neat explosions. The graphics are okay, but they should be better. What **** about it is the missions, and especially online. Most of the missions on single player have no shooting or action and are just plain boring. All you do on gta online is steal cars and deliver them which is a The game is sooo repetitive. It also really doesn't feel like gta. It feels like I'm playing an entirely different game. This game doesn't deserve all around 10's, it's actually not so much **** game. This game is just as overhyped as heck and it **** but at the same time its kind of fun.
