This is Nintendo's best online multiplayer game. I have yet to have a problem with Splatoon 3's multiplayer, and they improve upon Splatoon 2 in everyway. from the guns to the gameplay, its beter in pretty much every way. But the problem I have is with the story mode, it feels so been there, done that heavy. If you put levels from Splatoon 2 and 3s story mode side by side i really couldn't tell you the difference between the two. but its still a very good and worthy pickup for the Switch.
This is probably my favorite game of all time, and just like BoTW i really can't think of a bad thing to say about the game. All the worlds are super fun and original. The moons are an absolute joy to get, and all are well hidden. Mario's moveset is perfect in this game, and he is an absolute joy to play with. The idea of capturing enemies is a fantastic idea and works even better in-game. It felt fresh when it launches and even now it still feels fresh to play compared to 3d World. This is Mario´s magnum opus, in my opinon nothing will ever top this mario games.
Its the most rewarding game I've ever played. That feeling after beating Grim Matchstick or Dr. Kahls Robot will never be beaten. The art style is also absolutely unbelievable, it's a joy to look at everytime i replay it for fun. The only minor knock I have is the run and guns, I think you could make those a little longer and they'd be that much better. also i wish it were slightly longer. This is an amazing game
Just a fun, no-nonsense platformer, but immensely enjoyable. All the levels are amazing, and unlike the rest of the series, this feels fresh. The art style was original for the time, and the enemies are still solid to this day. The main problem I have is what came after this game. After the success of this game, they just kept on making them, and it got stale quickly. So going back to this game can also, at times, feel a little stale. the power ups also aren't great this time around. They got it right with the two home console games, but the handhelds missed, in my opinion. Alas, this is a must-get for a DS owner.
I bought this game on black friday 2019 when I was 10, and still now, 7 years later, this is still the best game I've ever played. All the shrines are a joy to play through and feel rewarding to beat. It reinvented the series and feels fresh compared to Skyward Sword. The art style is the best I've ever seen from a Nintendo game and looks absolutely stunning. its one of, if not the best, games of all time, and if my memory got erased, the first thing I'm doing is playing this game again.
My only gripe with this game is the bosses; they feel lackluster compared to the rest of the game. The rest of the game is an absolute joy to play through, from the excellent level design to the really creative wonder seed portions of levels. The bosses, especially the airship bosses, feel completely flat, but this is stil a absolute amazing game for the Switch, a must-play.
