Mass Effect: Andromeda
6
User Scorecesdaygo
Sep 30, 2026
Andromeda is enjoyable, but it never comes close to the Shepard trilogy. It feels like it was only a few steps away from being a truly good game, yet the technical limitations, particularly the Frostbite engine, seem to hold it back at every turn. The overall experience carries a sense of unfinished potential. The gameplay is just satisfying enough to remain engaging, while the story is noticeably less cinematic and emotionally impactful than the original trilogy. Nevertheless, it is absolutely playable and, as a Mass Effect fan, still worth experiencing. In many ways, Andromeda feels more like a bridge or a filler chapter than a true successor. The expectations surrounding it were incredibly high at the time, which made its shortcomings feel all the more painful and the consequences became increasingly apparent in the years that followed. A missed opportunity. Hopefully, the next chapter will handle the legacy of Mass Effect with greater care. Ryder, signing off.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition finally gave me the opportunity to experience all three games as one continuous journey, something I had never done before. The ability to carry over your save data, including character development and story decisions, is truly outstanding and creates a unique sense of individuality and continuity. The trilogy feels highly cinematic, immersive, and remarkably cohesive. It has definitely earned its place among my all time favorite video game experiences. It is a shame that this level of continuity and impact was not maintained quite as successfully in the sequel. I love it. Shepard, signing off.

Beast of Reincarnation

Beast Of Reincarnation delivers a fantastic action experience with a rewarding, skill-focused combat system. Chaining combos and customizing your fight style with the Flower Power system feels great, and the enemy patterns allow you to quickly adapt to challenging fights. The story is surprisingly personal and well-written, with memorable, distinct protagonists, making it feel almost like an anime series with great franchise potential for future sequels. However, the game has a few rough edges. The lock-on camera gets glitched when fighting Nushis up close, and the Nushi encounters feel repetitive instead of offering a unique animal per zone. Movement could also use a extra punch (a double jump would have been a great detail) and visual customization for Emma and Kuu is far too limited. Overall, it's a strong title with minor flaws that is definitely worth playing for its combat and story! Tip: The game plays even better without background music. the atmosphere is more serious.

The Thaumaturge

The Thaumaturge surprised me in the best way. Its cinematic Grigori Rasputin story is so engaging that I could easily imagine it as a TV series. The setting in russian Poland fits the concept of a Thaumaturge perfectly, creating a unique atmosphere that stands out from most RPGs. The gameplay is solid overall, although it takes some time to get used to. The Salutors are beautifully designed, and the turn-based combat is genuinely fun. The characters are also quite charismatic and make the journey enjoyable. By the end, I found myself wishing there was more content. If a sequel is ever announced, I'd play it without hesitation. The Thaumaturge is already a very enjoyable game, but it still lacks a bit of polish and technical refinement. That said, the potential is enormous. I only wish it had the scale, in terms of team size and budget, of today's biggest turn-based RPGs. If the developers ever get the opportunity to create a sequel with those resources, I truly believe it could become a top-tier competitor in the genre.

watching giant creatures destroy cities while battling each other felt like stepping into a classic monster movie brought to **** gameplay is simple but incredibly entertaining, with a great sense of impact, creative monster designs, and plenty of nostalgic charm. It may not have the depth or complexity of modern fighting games, but its personality and atmosphere make it stand out.A fantastic example of the creativity of the PS2 era, a game that embraced its ridiculous concept and turned it into an unforgettable experience.

Gun is a perfect example **** that captured the imagination of its time. While it may feel limited by today’s standards, it delivered an incredibly atmospheric Wild West experience that was both exciting and memorable. The story, characters, and gritty tone created a world that felt different from most games of the era. The gunfights were satisfying, the open areas encouraged exploration, and the overall presentation gave it the feeling of a true Western adventure. It may not have the scale or depth of later titles, but Gun had a unique charm that made it stand out on the PlayStation 2. A nostalgic experience that deserves more recognition from fans of the genre.

Red Dead Redemption has a unique atmosphere, a fantastic setting, and a story that still stands out as one of the strongest narratives in gaming history. The journey through the Wild West feels authentic, with memorable characters, great dialogue, and a world full of personality. Compared to many modern titles, it may feel simpler in terms of mechanics, but its strong writing and emotional impact more than make up for it. It may not have aged perfectly in every aspect, but the charm and legacy of this game are undeniable. A true classic that still deserves to be experienced.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most visually stunning and immersive open-world games ever created. The attention to detail is remarkable, the world feels alive, and the performances are excellent. It's clear that an incredible amount of care went into every aspect of its presentation. That said, I never found the gameplay to be as engaging as the world itself. The pacing is often very slow, many missions feel overly scripted, and the controls can be clunky at times. While the story has some powerful moments, the experience didn't quite live up to the overwhelming praise it often receives. It's an impressive achievement and absolutely worth experiencing at least once, but for me, it falls short of being the masterpiece many consider it to be.

The exploration is outstanding, the combat feels satisfying, and building settlements adds a surprisingly addictive layer to the experience. While the main story has its flaws and some RPG elements were simplified, the overall package is packed with memorable locations, rewarding discoveries, and countless moments that make wandering the Commonwealth worthwhile. Playable again and again.

Every playthrough feels like coming home to a world full of unforgettable characters, meaningful choices, and stories that still rival the best RPGs ever made. It captures that golden era of gaming when ambitious single player experiences felt like true blockbusters, built with passion instead of trends. Even after all these years, the Mojave has a charm that few games have ever matched. An absolute masterpiece, and one I'll always come back to.

Mixtape is a charming, short experience with a distinctive art style, likable characters, and several enjoyable, heartfelt moments. The smaller stories and interactions are well presented and make the game easy to appreciate. That said, I can't quite understand the amount of hype surrounding it. While I wasn't expecting constant action or high-intensity gameplay, I was hoping for a stronger emotional impact and a deeper overall narrative. In the end, the story never reached the level of depth that I felt it was building ****'s a pleasant experience that's worth a play if you're looking for something short and relaxing, but it ultimately left me wishing there had been more substance beneath its stylish presentation.

Who came up with the idea of praising this game? While it can serve as a decent way to pass the time, it offers very little beyond that. Overall, it feels like an unfinished and uninspired product. The combat mechanics are questionable and often frustrating, while the career mode is particularly disappointing and lacks depth. It's acceptable for a quick match every now and then, but as a boxing game, it fails to deliver a meaningful experience for fans of the sport. There is very little attention to detail, and the overall quality falls short of what games in this genre were able to achieve more than 15 years ago. Considering the potential of a modern boxing title, this is a real disappointment.

UFL has improved significantly since its early days and has become a solid football game that is genuinely enjoyable to play. While there are still several areas that need improvement, the game is currently in a good state and offers a refreshing alternative to its competitors. One of its biggest strengths is the balance. Whether you're playing against AI, online bots, or real players, matches can feel the same. the online-offline gameplay balance is better than in many competing football titles. You don't need to spend money to stay competitive, and it's possible to earn strong player packs and build a good squad within a reasonable amount of time. My personal highlight is the lack of automatic defending. Success depends much more on tactical decisions, smart formations, player selection, and understanding player attributes. Outsmarting your opponent strategically feels rewarding and works very well. I'm having a lot of fun with UFL and play it regularly now. Hopefully, the developers continue improving it, because the game has plenty of potential.

The Sinking City delivers a very strong story and an outstanding atmosphere that perfectly captures its dark Lovecraftian setting. Solving cases is genuinely fun, with a simple and intuitive investigation system that still gives players a real sense of adventure through exploration and research. The way the game handles the protagonists mental state and its influence on the world is particularly interesting. It's a concept I'd love to see explored again in future games, but in a more impactful and aggressive way. The biggest weakness is the gameplay. While it's decent, it often feels empty, as if something is missing. More monsters, enemy variety, and challenging encounter would have greatly improved the experience. Despite its flaws, The Sinking City feels like the foundation of something much bigger. The world, lore, and concepts are highly expandable, and the game practically begs for multiple sequels.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is one of those rare games that never loses its magic. I first played it on PC about 15 years ago after a recommendation and I was blown away from the very beginning. What seems simple at first quickly reveals itself to be an incredibly deep and endlessly replayable experience. Years later, I picked it up again on PS4 and was amazed by how captivating it still is. Very few games manage to create so much simple but deep atmosphere, challenge, and variety with such a minimalist approach. Every run feels unique, and there are always new funny items to discover and combinate, making it hard to put down. The fact that so many people are still playing it after all this time is a testament to its exceptional quality. A timeless classic.

Even after over 20 years, Need for Speed: Underground 2 remains a masterpiece of the racing genre. Released during the golden era of gaming, it perfectly captures the early-2000s tuner scene with its neon-lit streets and iconic soundtracks. What sets it apart is the diverse car selection, it’s not just filled with supercars, but with everyday rides that you can transform through deep tuning and customization. Lassie on the PS2 is a game of extreme contrasts. On one hand, it’s a surprisingly polished experience. the visuals and art style are genuinely impressive for the ps2 capturing a charming, nostalgic atmosphere. The story is sweet, the levels are well-designed, and the music provides a sweeping, cinematic backdrop that fits the "heroic dog" theme perfectly. However, all that charm is buried under the worst controls of all time. Navigating Lassie feels like steering a tank through deep mud; the movement is clunky, unresponsive, and makes even the simplest tasks a frustrating chore.

Indika is one of those rare experiences that leaves you both puzzled and oddly satisfied. I honestly have no idea what I just played, why I played it, or what the game was trying to tell me and yet, it was incredibly entertaining and, in a strange way, genuinely good. There’s something uniquely captivating about its bizarre tone and unconventional storytelling. It constantly walks the line between confusion and fascination, creating an experience that feels disorienting but never boring. Despite the lack of clarity, or perhaps because of it, the game manages to stick with you long after you’ve finished it. I have a feeling I’m not the only one who feels this way.

masterpiece, blending ambition, scale, and refinement into an experience that feels both familiar and impressively fresh. Drawing on many well-established mechanics from top-tier games of the past decade, it successfully integrates these elements into a cohesive and highly engaging whole rather than feeling derivative. Exploration is one of the game’s strongest pillars. Every journey across its vast world feels meaningful, as players are consistently rewarded with discoveries, hidden details, and a sheer abundance of things to see and do. The world invites curiosity and rarely disappoints those who venture off the beaten path. The combat system is exceptional, both powerful and remarkably flexible. With a wide variety of weapons, unique weapon abilities, and special combat techniques that can be combined in creative ways, the gameplay offers depth without becoming inaccessible. Each encounter feels dynamic, allowing players to adapt their style and experiment freely. Quest design leans toward MMO-inspired structures, with objectives that are often quick to complete and embedded within a network of factions and alliances. While this approach may not reinvent the genre, it provides a steady and satisfying gameplay loop that complements the game’s scale and pacing. The main story, while not groundbreaking, fits the game well. It may not be deeply complex, but given the enormous scope of the world, its grounded and straightforward nature feels appropriate. It serves its purpose without overshadowing the core gameplay experience. With hundreds of hours of guaranteed playtime, Crimson Desert caters to a wide range of players from explorers and completionists to combat-focused adventurers. Notably, while it is not a Soulslike, it carries a certain charm reminiscent of that genre, particularly in its atmosphere and the weight of its combat. After reaching a certain level of playtime with powerful weapons, the game eventually starts to feel like a hack-and-slash, while still retaining everything previously mentioned Overall, Crimson Desert delivers a rich, expansive, and highly rewarding experience that confidently earns its place among the great open-world titles.
