Although a negligible amount of minutes longer than the Swedish version, it has so many extra parts that are totally not necessary and detract from the main aspects of the film. I found the final act particularly dragging. The film was also too glossy for such a gritty story. That said, it is still a decent film due to the source material and overall good acting

Quirky, real and funny. Although it sometimes verges on being a little too out there the main story feels like a truthful representation of the highs and lows of two unique people in a relationship, whilst being completely hilarious. Julie Delpy and Adam Goldberg clearly have chemistry (they were together in real life before the film), taking the film from good to great, It'll be interesting to see how 2 days in New York turns out without Goldberg and Paris as a character of its own

A realistic and occasionally insightful film about love and betrayal. All the characters seemed real and interesting, with the exception of Sam Worthington's, who lacked some depth. The idea that the film isn't sexy enough is missing the point; its not about sex but about relationships and how to juggle them when you care about two people who wants and needs conflict. It successfully portrayed how appealing an affair can be but also how much meaning a marriage still holds.
