Majogami caught my eye with its unique art style dripping with character and color. The combat is what kept me around to see the story to completion. Though, the main mechanic ("Setsuna") can begin to feel a bit gimmicky as the game drags on. The difficulty is a bit all over the place as well. The game has a defense mechanic that feels a little bit OP with no limit to how long it can be used and it can block every type of enemy attack. There are charms you can equip and one will gradually replenish health after it dips below half of your total HP. These two abilities make the game feel like it's on easy mode regardless of the difficulty you actually choose. Some of the anime-style character models were a bit over-sexualized for my liking and the story featured some pervy tropes, but all-in-all the game was fun and kept me entertained through the final-final credits.

It's a Pokemon game, so don't expect much graphically, but the core gameplay loop and combat is really addictive and fresh. I'm thoroughly enjoying the real-time combat and variety especially with the mega battles. It holds a stable 60 frames per second on Switch 2 which has made the experience feel really buttery as well

I've been having a fun time playing handheld on the Nintendo Switch 2. Mostly playing Franchise and also a few online H2H games. It's not perfect, but it's Madden and it's fun.
