Great new addition to sim racing and arguably the most realistic sim of its date. The track detail is perfect and the physics amazing. Not for the faint of heart - a hardcore sim. Steering wheel required.
Classic city builder still unrivalled in terms of customization and size. Pretty polished although can be a resource hog with larger maps but with all maps joining the possibilities are endless. With the network addon mod you can do curved roads, many real life road designs and even see which one is best implemented in your town. Will you make an off grid eco town or an industrial nuclear powerhouse for neighbouring cities
Fantastic simulator but just a shame it's not a tiny bit more realistic. I mean I should be getting paid a little bit when I have to p in a bottle and eat takeaway food just to make my online delivery in time? Great for killing time with music in background - wheel is pretty much a must
The music atmosphere and story all compile into a nice pancake batter of goodness. The golden era of gta. But just like all pancake batter - there is a time to stop working with it and put it into the pan. A real shame this original is now tainted with its remaster
Although the gameplay is similar to a lot of games the engine and customization is vastly superior to many aaa titles out there even to today's standards. Eg. You can create unique challenges and place all units where you want them (recreate historical fights), change the stats of certain units to rebalance a story, download 100s of mods and scenarios to keep things fresh. Much more replayability than similar titles
I would love to put 10 but with the plethora of bugs it's near unplayable without using a mod manager to inject essential files (anti crash, fps fix, 4gb ram patch). On the x360 I couldn't finish 2 full game play-throughs from bugs or glitches. After 150 hrs I put it down until modding the pc version this year.. and what a difference. It's a very overwhelming sense of awareness and freedom you get from the different ways you can play and change the story outcome. But one thing remains the same. War. War never changes
I remember being 13yo playing this without a supported graphics card and whatever there was a shadow or fog/mist I would instead see inverted colours and weird flashes making the game more eerie and weird for a kid just getting into 3d games. Fond memories
