Stockholm10

Stockholm is the hidden gem of the summer! Big blockbusters like Endgame aren’t as much my thing, so I was thrilled to find out Ethan Hawke was going to be doing a crazy bank heist movie, especially one based on a true story that I hadn’t been familiar with. The director Robert Budreau does an outstanding job of making this film a joy to watch while also leaving you scratching your head wondering why you feel the way you do. I recommend watching this movie for a look into how “Stockholm syndrome” got its name!

The Delinquent Season9
Nov 20, 2018
The Delinquent Season closely follows two married couples along with the ups and downs of their relationship. I loved this movie because of how realistically dramatic it is, dealing with issues of cheating and lust in a way that felt like you didn’t know who to be rooting for. If you’re a fan of romance or drama movies this would be perfect for you.

Five Fingers For Marseilles9
Oct 3, 2018
Five Fingers for Marseilles screams originality. Inspired by the style of Western films, director Michael Matthews brings to the table a South African based movie that transcends borders. Utilizing universal themes like brotherhood and friendship, right versus wrong, and the tensions between a government along with its people while pairing them with the crisp and clean landscapes of South Africa makes Five Fingers for Marseilles truly a work of art.

A Wizard's Tale9
Sep 26, 2018
Charismatic voice acting, vibrant visuals, and an exciting storyline- these are just a few of the enticing elements of movie A Wizard’s Tale. I thought this movie did a really great job of instilling the overall message that love is key. Audience members witness the heartbreak of a once joyful wizard (Ian McShane), and watch him turn his kingdom into a place of gloom due to his negative feelings. In this adventurous animated film, main character Terry (Toby Kebbell) fights to keep his late grandmother’s amusement park afloat while simultaneously working side by side with a princess (Lily Collins). There is a something to be learned here for the movie viewers of all ages, and I interpreted that as similar to the universal message of just being kind to others. Director Andres Couturier gets across simple themes in such creative and original ways. I would very much so recommend this movie to you if you're a fan of easily enjoyable movies.
