its like a sci fi B movie with a budget, and that makes it fun. the visuals are the best part of it

visual masterpiece. wonderful music. its interesting that the opinions are so polar, you either liked it or not. the minimalistic approach is very engaging, the colors, actors and motifs really stick out this way and in helps to encapsule the idea of modelling and beauty in general

wonderful! i didnt expect the relationship between ed wood and bela lugosi to be so touching. a perfect contrast to the more uplifting and comedic scenes. so many memorable lines and great actors. it makes you want to watch the whole ed wood catalog! a fine homage to filmmaking and a different era.

a classic that you can watch at any time of day and enjoy, very goofy but fun at all times with tons of quoteable lines. especially the last act is very memorable even after years of not having watched.

very good movie, gets you thinking a lot about life itself and it doesnt drag the concept out too long and ends on a high note. the actors and photography make it seem very lifelike so one would think its a documentary, which helps elevating the movie. best of 2020/21 so far, good job!

too bad it falls into the very same cliches that reboots/sequels in recent years do and it actually even comments on it midfilm. not much comedy and probably shouldve focused on eddie murphy more, but you have to pass the torch to the next generation, even if they have not yet found their roots besides social commentary. maybe that is the problem with modern comedy

Very 80s, exciting, some comedy, mysticism and Eddie Murphy in his prime. Seen it a lot when younger and it holds up, the visuals and concepts are still very interesting

Atypical teenage movie that twists the tropes and establishes a neat slang, wish i'd seen it sooner/when i was younger, wouldve probably enjoyed it even more, especially for how cute Winona is.
