@Update After a couple of hours into it, I have to confess, it becomes quite repetitive. The story-elements don't really matter anymore and the mission-map, doesn't really offer a choice. You have to go with the best rewards, if you want to beat the game. The fights you engage in don't offer much versatility, which is the biggest miss from the developers I would say. Still, 3 Euros for 8-10+ enjoyable hours, are more than fair. A grinding masterpiece with well thought through strategic elements

Like Super Mario 64 has been the perfect game for the N64 New Super Lucky‘s Tale is a perfect match for Nintendos Switch. Sure, overall it,s made for a younger audience yet it‘s crafted with so much love, great controls and lovely characters, short yet entertaining dialogues that, in my opinion, New Super Lucky’s Tale is a must buy for every Switch owner! Can‘t recommend this enough really. Sidenote: It‘s a great 3D plattformer which feels just as charming as the good old Spyro games.
Kaze is a love salute to DKC and it's Era in a good way. It is one of the best 2D plattformers you can get on the Switch, as Donkey Kong Country 2 has been one of the best on the SNES. Get it on sale and enjoy the challenges it has to offer.
A game to avoid. Even for me as a fan of the series I can't recommend this. The campaign isn't fun to play. The fighting doesn't feel rewarding. I found myself smashing random buttons most of the time. And I ran into graphical issues, like character models turned all black all of a sudden. Spend your money on something else.
Damn this game is addictive! I just can't stop grinding. It's fun, challenging, rewarding, nostalgic* - without feeling old or outdated. Units and abilities feel unique, yet they are balanced with care, and do get the rock paper scissor principle just right! Managing ones "inventory" is fun but not too easy. And the campaign has a very nice progression with regards to mentioned details. Plus I got it for free from the Epic Store. If I had to pay for it, I would say anything below a tenner is a great deal. *Command and Conquer, Cannon Fodder, Return Fire
This game doesn't do the deal for me. It lacks a sense of reward for pretty much everything. If you are looking for a comparable, cheap, yet amazing party game, allow me to recommend Boomerang Fu.
To me.. it's a so so. The controls feel.. sluggy during the first dungeon runs (1 - 2 hours). There are some upgrades in the game (runes), that will nullify the character's built-in slow down. Once you reach that point, the controls begin to feel "natural". Design-wise, I get the idea, to amplify the feeling of progress, but I can't say I like it a lot. Another thing that feels a bit iffy is, that, whenever you enter a new room or area of a dungeon, your character will fall right into it, and the game will slow down for maybe one or two seconds or so, which forces you to decide quickly, how to move, and in which direction to move, so you won't take too much - or any - damage upon landing. It doesn't add much to the game, and becomes this repetitive thing, that you learn to deal with. I would have preferred a classic Zelda or Moonlighter approach to this. Maybe chuck it in from to time, for extra challenging rooms.. but well. The enemies are, well.. functional. Just beat the first boss, so I don't know, how challenging things may become. Can't recommend it, really. Can't say it's that bad either. Give it a try, if you like the overall appeal - which is what **** me in the first place. Cheers
It's nice to have it on the go. The performance in handheld mode is very good. The framerate didn't drop below anything notable to the eye. The loading times are a bit of a let down, as well as EAs **** dialogues, when you launch the game off the grid. All in all, it's a good catch to make on sale.
Dadish is a fantastic little game. The controls feel really good. The levels are fairly challenging, and well designed. It doen't feel like a lazy spam of levels or anything. Each level has it's own sort of style. The dialogues are well written and often times really funny. A true geme. A must buy on my list.
Pros + Vikings setting + lovely Visuals + decent story presentation ~ decent animations ~ the pricetag (only buy on sale) Cons - not optimized for handheld mode (font too small) - bad font contrast in menu - character movement feels way too slow in the beginning - gameplay feels to repetitive (headless-button-spamming) - only two languages available: english, japanese ~ loading times feel a tad long, for what it is
Pankapu is a lovely crafted game with nice level-design, that comes with many languages, sadly not optimized for handheld mode. The font is often times too small to be readable, which makes it hard to keep up with the story. With that beeing said, visuals and animation look lovely, the controls feel very good, The enemy diversity is a bit of a let-down, and the fact that the character freezes on point, if you want him to make use of his shield does mess with your overall tempo and is a pain in the ass, if you love to play "flowly". It's a charming game, that I can recommend to fans of the genre, preferably on sale.
Oh my what a game. It's super addictive. Plenty of fun. Beautifully crafted, with a superb and lovely animated pixel look. Just the right game for oldschool Zelda fans who love to raid dungeons and to upgrade their stuff. Can't wait for it's successor. When on sale, make sure to grab the complete edition - it's a steal. Really! Room for improvement: - rare bugs that force you to leave the dungeon (sometimes, it's just delayed loading) - super rare bug that force you to restart the game (unsaved progress will be lost) - can't freely remap all the keys without breaking the game (primary attack has to stay on a) - your employee is not able to process orders on time without you, even if you leave the goods in stock.
Rubberbanding-AI kills all the fun. The drifting takes some time to get used too and doesn't feel as rewarding as it should. Hard to enjoy. Really sad, because it has the potential to be a great game.
This is game is awesome: + the weapons are fun (it's hard to chose a favorite) + the controls fluid + the graphics great + the music propelling + the weapon and skill development keeps you motivated The only downsides are: - losing map awareness - lots of wall hugging for completionists - people not giving it enough credit
FOX n FORESTS is a charming little retro-platformer with an original idea, which is, that you can alter the environmental options by switching seasons (time of year) in exchange for mana. The controls are decent, the dialogues funny, the artstyle pleasing enough and the characters skillset progression feels fairly balanced. I can recommend it on sale with a rating of 6.5 out of 10 points.
I even regret that 0,87 € I spend on it. It's too punishing. You will lose all progress when you run out of lifes. Yet the game itself isn't joy-able enough to grind. It doesn't tell you what the different difficulty setups do (you start with less lives: 9 on easy, 2 on most difficult). The only upsides are, decent controls, nice sound-effects and "likable" visuals, even tho I think the "hero" looks unnecessarily derpy. The music is borderline okay, I guess. There are so much more enjoyable games ou there, don't waste your time on it. Can't recommend it.
With Into the Breach, Subset Games has created a true masterpiece. It is down-to-earth, multi-faceted, challenging but never overwhelming. It is simply a dream come true for all fans of turn-based strategy games: No matter how many rounds you may have played, no two games are alike. Far too numerous are the possibilities that arise from position, combination, action and effect. And I haven't even mentioned how different the Mechs play, how varied they are, or that they can be improved during the course of the game. New equipment reveals new ways of playing but also new decisions that need to be made. And no matter how many of them you make in the course ****, they are never tiring or trivial, but always of noticeable consequence. Just as noticeable are the grey cells that search for answers when the opponent positions his units on the randomly generated maps, because the space beetles have come up with similarly impressive skills and agility and take their toll. Conclusion: For just under 13 Euros (as of March 3, 2018) you can already get the Game of the Year in the category: Round Based Strategy Game with Into the Breach.

False advertisment! Expropriation of intellectual property of the own community. Owners of WarCraft III Original must download significantly more data than before, without benefitting from it.. Features from the original game have been missing on release and propably still are. Debatable artstyle. Plenty of bug reports. Blizzard has lost it's tracks.
If you are into puzzlegames and see this one on sale, don't hesistate. The game will introduce you to new mechanics progressively, which adds a really nice feeling of progression and curiosity.
Lovely crafted, lovely looking yet only mediocre adventure-platformer, that I would really love to rate high, but it's story and gameplay couldn't attract me too much and I don't feel any urge to pick it up (plus, there are plenty alternatives out there, that feel way more statisfying to play, so why would I force myself into playing it, you know?).
Absolute masterpiece. Can't recommend it enough. It's selling price is insanely low too (currently around 15 Euros). Money well spend! Yes it has it's downsides, sure. Sometimes you will struggle to find out where to go next. In these situations I would like to recommend you to use a walkthrough guide from the internet, but only until you made it pass that point, so the game won't slug you down too much. But this doesn't justify pulling it below a very solid 10, since it started as a 15 in my opinion. Plus, some really do enjoy the process of looking, looting and unlocking, even if it takes longer.
If you need any excuse to buy a Nintendo Switch. This is it. Zelda BotW is an absolute masterpiece, and propably the very benchmark for every Zelda game henceafter - for a long time to come.
It's a nice well crafted little plattformer, you will pick up every now and than, to beat a level or two, which I would recommend to buy on sale (and on sale only).
Challenging, somewhat overhyped, definetly overpriced action platformer. With no flaws in execution. Get it on Sale. If the price drops below 10 Euros, add 2 points; if it drops below 5 Euros, add 3 points.
It's a fun and well polished racing game, with great controls, nice visuals, fairly challenging AI and a good amount of content considering it's range of price. With many hours into it, I haven't encountered any FPS drops. I'm a bit dissapointed when it comes to the music chosen for this game. The pool feels fairly small and repetitive. And I would love to see more (more epic, more energizing) music implemted via update or DLC
