It sure seems like a cash grab. As soon as Mainframe Industries released Pax Dei in Early Access, they took that money and laid off more than 30% of its staff. They never updated or added anything except goofy goat. The "full release" is just as empty and soulless as the beginning on Early Access. Total failure. .
I'm not sure what the devs are thinking. Absolute disaster. The pricing is as absurd as the devs talking trash to potential buyers in forums. Nothing makes sense. It's as if the devs wanted to fail.
Good pirate game ruined by egocentric devs. Forced PVP and punishing PVE players are never the right way to go. This game would have sold 5x the numbers with more competent devs.
Fun RPG, but worse Dragon Age game in the series. The story dialog was made for children. Dragon Age has always been a dark and adult fantasy game. Veilguard failed miserably with dialog and making the game Dragon Age.
This is not a civilization game. This should have been renamed and had nothing to dowith the civilization games. This is a disrespectful want-to-be or a dollar store version of civilization.
Good RPG, but worst Dragon Age game in the series. Veilguard is extremely childish and completely opposite of the Dark and adult fantasy Dragon Age has been known for. Graphics look great, but the writing and dialog is atrocious.
AGS is trying hard to become the worse game studio in gaming history. The decisions being made have been absolutely absurd since launch. The best hope for the game itself would be on Amazon sold the IP and rights to a real game studio.
