Do not buy without trying it before. GOG demo version is out there. The game freezes for seconds while playing but that s going to be fixed eventually. It's entertaining to name planets and animals up to a certain point. I think Solus project does a better job at space survival game . NMS is an interesting game and entertaining for some time . Nothing special but it has the initial catch of most survival games at the start. The score will end between 5 and 7. Lot of disappointment from the one expecting an ED or X type of space game. One detail that shows a lot, when you mine a mountain of minerals and you start from the bottom, the top stays magically floating in the air !!!

It's an original game, it blends dungeon design with warcraft type very well. Game is very entertaining, but it seems unfinished on the technical side. For example to send the orcs outside the dungeon I needed to press many times on the dungeon door until I got the exact point. Same to grab stuff with the hand. It becomes annoying after some time. The worst part is path finding. I have all my minions running towards a wall when they should be mining. Patch resolved pathfinding so now the game is playable . Still crashes now and then and auto save is hit or miss. Upgrading from 6 to 7

Graphics are not fantastic , ship movement seems awkward. Flight model physics are the envy of Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen player: no compromises. Idea is brilliant and nicely implemented by a one man team , specially because mixing piloting a ship and real time strategy ended in failure for many big companies. This game offers lots of depth , some may say it's too difficult for the current times. A big point is that the developer is very active and (successfully) tries really hard to answer all the questions. Also he is working in a significant change after reviewers and gamers pointed out they wanted to have a tactical display with the looks of the piloting screen. This game seems to be a hidden jewel. I hope it gets its deserved recognition

Game had a lot of potential, but finding and managing the units it's a nightmare. This get worse worse when you micro manage more than one battle field without visibility of what's happening. Message about ships being attacked are not complemented with information or a way to get there. No formations, no guard ship options. Not worth to invest time on this one.

Good old school game. Some missions are long and hard, and no save option during those would be very helpful. Resolution could be increased with simple hacks and missions are varied. Flight model is awesome and combat balanced.

There is no gameplay. Its NOT a game. extremeky boring, you just walk slowly trying to discover the correct way out there is an annoying story that doesn't matter too much since there is nothing today. Even if u don't pay for this so called game it would be a waste of time

Very disappointing game......I'd rather stay a sinner than become a faulty legend. How can they release a game in this state ??? they don't know that they are going to kill all the future sales !! after so negative reception even if they fix the issues they won't be able to recover for releasing an unfinishes game.

This is not bad game, unless you compare it with mass effect I or mass effect 2 which were really awesome games where you were driving the character and the history. All that magic is gone, thus I understand why people give this game low ratings . For a mass effect game this is lame. For the average games this is agood one. Probably people who never played the previous ones of like fps game style would vote this one higher. What is unbelievable is all the (paid?) critic reviews who are giving only top scores and highlighting how good is the game almost without negative aspects. Fortunately here in metacritic most of the users have expressed their opinions so everyone can read that this game is not the perfect product paid reviews are trying to sell. I imagine Bioware is trying to get users to vote and comment in their favour, but that would be a bit more difficult than to heavily advertise in a bunch of gaming publications. I mean, if Bioware is paying you a los of money for publicity, you won"t be talking down their new star product .That wouldn't be a business wise decision.

It is just Borderlnad clone. Graphics are really good. But IMO Borderland was a great game and this one fails. Unfortunately, this game is linear and boring.
