It features really good graphics (depth of field, reflections, shadows, etc.) and a very good gameplay. (it is just like the classic ones but more modern, just improved, and it also features some new elements like the strength etc.) The problem is that Eidos released it too early so that it is kinda incomplete (it is longeval enough, but it isn't enough to get a 6) and many features were removed. Still, it's an amazing game. 6/10, recommended!

Dear Esther is an amazing video/game which has to be explored and understood in order to like it. It features a pure realistic and fantastic world with unbelievable graphics and performances, all combined with a great plot. It is a very short game, but really exciting, which can give you a lot of feelings. -Technique- Dear Esther featuers the best graphics that have ever been in videogames of these last years; they're very clear and very advanced, as well as very clever (there are some "sprites" that are even featured in old games like the first Tomb Raider, but they're put so well in the environment that they look like 3D objects which even make animations when you walk near them, but actually are always in the same position, they just "turn" in your looking direction, which makes great graphics and very high framerate savings). All this must be mixed with, thanks to Source Engine and some great tweaks, a very good/excellent performance, which is really amazing. Light effects and textures are really impressive in this game. -Plot and sounds- What makes Dear Esther so great is also the plot, which is really intriguing and deep. It seems to contain a lot of metaphors, and what actually happens is relative to player's interpretation. Now, combine all this with some great soundtracks and really creepy sounds, which will make of Dear Esther an excellent video adventure, which will bring you into its finest, melancholic and deepest experience. -Longevity and gameplay- Unfortunately, the game lasts for a very short time, because you can complete it in no more than two hours (even exaggerating; actually, you can complete it in a hour). Basically, all you do is explore an island and follow some monologues. Technique: 8-

The game is not good. There are some innovative things regarding the gameplay, but it's still too much similar to the first one. They should release the game with already ALL the expansions, since you pay it a lot. The graphics **** pretty much, compared to the Half Life 2 ones, which was released in the same year.

Very good gameplay, almost innovative for its times. The bad points are the graphics and the performance, since the graphics **** and you still get low FPS on low end PCs (such as PCs of its times). The sound is really boring, except for some tracks. Overall, it's a mediocre game, which could be even better, since the idea was good.

Serious Sam 3: BFE is an awesome game. Personally, this is my favourite game of the last years. Now, let's get into the review. Serious Sam 3 brings out FPS arena mechanics (such as fast gameplay and a lot of weapons) and tactic FPS mechanics (such as aiming and reload) and merges them into a fully and solid gameplay. In fact, this way allows the game to be liked by any FPS player (although 85% of the gameplay is arena-style). The single-player features a lot of enemies and very hard/adrenaline moments, all mixed with extremely cool metal music and appropriate environmental music themes. Finally, this is the game that features a solid plot, although not so deep, but which still contains some twists and, of course, Serious Sam's "epic" dialogues. The game is moddable and people can make extra contents such as extra missions and maps, multiplayer included. By the way, the multiplayer is just like the SS:HD remakes, which is cool. This makes the longevity very good. Graphically, the game is very good. The maps are very well structured and detailed, and there are a lot of excellent particles effects (for example, when you make dust, you see shadows which get filtered by it). Even the performance is good, infact, this is the only game that allowed me to play good graphics with full stable 30+ FPS. This is probably the only very good game that came out these years, I'm very happy with it. Amazing game! This a mixture between Action/Adventure/Platform and Open World. The gameplay is great, and the plot is very nice. Graphically very good, this game gets a full 7, because this is a very funny and nice game.

This is probably one of the best horror games that I've ever played. Graphically, it is excellent, containing real-time shadows, high quality textures and a lot cool effects, and we are talking about a game which was released in 2000! The performance is great (the only problems are some graphic bugs that are present when you play the game with new video cards, which make me unable to give it the perfect score, 8). The plot is very nice and intriguing, and sometimes deep. There are, especially at the start of the game, a lot of "scarejumps". The soundtracks are amazing, that are perfectly suited to the circumstances (there are even sounds in the installation of the game!). The gameplay is cool and fun, different from all mainstream videogames. This is a real horror game that makes you get fear. The only bad note about this game is that it is short (you can complete it in 3-5-11 hours). - Plot: 6.5; Tech (Graphics performance): 7.5; Gameplay: 6.5; Longevity: 5; Audio: 7. Mediocre game. The game can be completed in a very little time. Its plot is very basic, although the real plot of the Slender Man is quite good. The gameplay is very basic, you can't even run. Bad Tomb Raider game. Still, it's not the worst one (the worst one will probably be the new Tomb Raider Reboot). Very bad performance, as well as awful longevity. Gameplay is OK, but the graphics are dated and bad, and the plot is basic. They cut off all the best things of Tomb Raider. Graphics and performance: 3 + ½ (3.5); Longevity: 3- (2.75); Gameplay: 5- (4.75); Plot: 4 + ½ (4.5). OVERALL SCORE: 4- [3.88] (3.75 out of 10 [Bad-mediocre]).

Nice game, but there are all the bad notes from the previous game, which I'm not going to say here, too. Anyway, the graphics have been improved (although without next gen contents), as well as the performance. The textures are superb. There are some fixes on the gameplay. This is the game that has changed the Tomb Raider saga. A nice game which, technically, isn't that good. Tomb Raider has always been a long game, and this one is really short. Tomb Raider has always got great performance and graphics, while the performance on this one **** very much. The gameplay is fine, but not as good as old as the one of the old Tomb Raider (P.S.: I miss the very big jumps). The plot is very good. Also, the bad point is that you can carry on only 2 weapons. That's really sad, if you think that, in TR3, you could bring on really many weapons (such as pistols, uzis, assault riffles, shotguns, desert eagles, flares, water gun, etc.). Graphics and performance: 4; Longevity: 3; Gameplay: 6; Plot: 6+ (6.25). OVERALL SCORE: 5- [4.81] (4.75 out of 10 [Mediocre]).

This game is the perfection for Game Boy Advance. Perfect performance, great graphics, very funny gameplay and good plot & longevity. These are the factors that make of this, an amazing game. You can do any Crash Bandicoot 3 action, so the gameplay is now complete, and it's also competitive. Funny, nice and mind blowing. 100% recommended to anyone. Great game. Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure's performance is just perfect. Always high FPS. Graphics are very good, but they got improved in the next releases. Gameplay is fun, and remembers very much the original of the consoles one. If we compare it with the one of CB3, there are missing some actions, which were, then, added in CB2 - N-Tranced (still for Game Boy Advance). People all love Halo, and they say that it's the only game that worth the buying of the Xbox 360. Actually, it's one of the worst games ever made, and people like it only because everyone plays it. Not recommended.

Always the same game. There are only 2 weapons, slow gameplay, same graphics level, boring game and overall bad done. Not recommended.

Just as GTA IV, the game is very good (or, in this case, the GAMES), but it's really bad optimized. The worst porting that I've ever seen in my life. The heaviest game that exists. Even a $50000 computer can't handle it with max. settings with 100+ FPS. The max. FPS which you can get with the max. settings are probably 60, with the best computer that can be bought. Also, it's full of bugs and multiplayer lags. If you press a key during a climbing, you'll get teleported, simulating a lag. The game is not very well protected from cheaters. Graphics: 6 (good/very good) Performance and technique: 0.65 (very bad, painful) Longevity: 6.25 (very good) Plot: 6 (good/very good) Gameplay: 4 (mediocre/bad. Unfortunately, the low performance also inflicts the gameplay, because you can't play very well with 12 FPS) OVERALL SCORE: 4.5. I'd like to say that I love GTA IV and EFLC (as well as any other GTA). I've played them for more than 2 years on multiplayer and everyone's really disappointed with its very bad done performance and, overall, the game's programming. When I played this game, my GPU was used 100% and it reached 95°C. If it wasn't a port (or, at least, if it was a well done port) and it was a well done game, I'd give it 6 or 7, which means that it's a great game.

Should I copy and paste the same review as Modern Warfare 2? Well, I try to make it different, but I'll say the same things. This game engine is the same as the CoD 4 Modern Warfare from 2007, nothing has changed, nothing has been optimized. The game is the same as any other post CoD-4 CoD. The gameplay ****, the singleplayer ****, the multiplayer ****, the graphics ****. The plot is enough good, but not good, since it's not deep and mature. The sound is OK. Avoid these games. There's a CoD every half year (yeah, not even every year, since every 6 months you see a "new", bad, and sad CoD). Sold out games. I do not give this a 0 just because this is not as bad as Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified (45 minutes of SP). CoD MW3 = 0.75, for me.

This is the malefic game that has started the most sold out genre of games. This is the game that has started two sagas, one of the worst sagas ever made, called Modern Warfare and Black Ops. If CoD 4 didn't exist, these 2 sagas didn't. Bad gameplay, bad multiplayer, bad-medium graphics, semi-good plot and OK sound. I can't say that graphics are bad/very bad because they're only on the other games like CoD MW2, MW3, BO, BO2, etc. Anyway, they're not so good, because this was out on 2007, and on this year Crysis was already out, which has much better graphics. Actually, I don't care about graphics, but, since I'm reviewing a game, I have to rate them. The gameplay is very slow and boring, and it isn't competitive. The multiplayer is closed (I mean that you can't make your own scripts, maps, gametypes, etc., like on Quake 3), and there's not SDK, etc. (OF COURSE!). The singleplayer lasts just a bit. You can complete it in 4 hours. Semi-good plot, because it can be good, but it's not deep. 3.75, for me.

Really boring, not competitive and bad done game.

Another epic game, with Quake. Quake made the FPS arena genre, and this game makes the real multiplayer. Quake III Arena makes the multiplayer version of the single player of Quake. The game itself should be 7- (6.85), but since the game is open (perfect multiplayer), epic and should be the "Follow-this-game-model", I gave it a 7.5. You can make your own MAPS, mods, scripts, gametypes, HUDs, etc. You can't get bored with it, there's even a race mode! The gameplay is amazing: you can use the strafe jump, rocket jump, you can use a lot of weapons, you can use various weapons to run faster and you can do many other things. Graphics 6.65 Plot NULL Longevity 7 Gameplay 7 GLOBAL SCORE: 6.88. One of the best FPSs (and probably one of the best games), among with Warsow and Quake. If it was perfect technically, I'd give it a 9 (excellent).

A garbage version of Quake III Arena. If you play THIS Quake (along with Quake 4), please, don't think that all QUAKEs are like that. This game is not open (well... sure, that's for consoles), the multiplayer is not so bad but also not so good, the maps are limited, and there are missing a lot of things. Also, how can you STRAFE, especially when you AIM and SHOOT? Not recommended. Buy a computer and play the original Quake III Arena.

Good game. It is nothing compared to the old REs, but it's still good. Nice graphics, gameplay and plot. Recommended only if you like Resident Evil very much, but you don't care about its big gameplay change.

The game is OK. It has good plot, gameplay (but very downgraded compared to the old ones) and OK graphics. A bad note for the graphics: RE4 for PS2 is just a port. That's why it has less graphics than GC version, so, the graphics aren't so good. 5.5 for me.

Good game, but not technically. The game offers a nice gameplay for the first 4 hours. Then, it becomes boring and you have to play multiplayer. Multiplayer is good, and offers some plugins feature, but it can't be a very good multiplayer, since the game isn't that competitive.

There's only the multiplayer, so I'll review only it: the game seems to be very bad programmed. I wasn't able to play the game, because there are many bugs that MAKE IT STUCK ON THE SCREEN "Press any key to continue". This is ridiculous. Also, the matchmaking is made very badly, and you can't choose your servers, but it will look for them. The graphics/performance are the only good thing of this game (I could see them only via the menu, since I couldn't play), but, since it would "high" the score to max. 0.5, I still have to give it 0 and not 1. Also, there's the shop, as many F2P. Avoid it.

Good for being on Xbox 360, but: If you play this game, don't think that all Quakes are like that. They're all excellent games, so don't take this one as a quake. It's a very good game, for being a Xbox 360 one. I think that, since you can't be very fast on X360, it's good to have reload etc.. It's like it was made for consoles, so, this is good for consoles but (compared to other Quakes) bad for computers. Honestly, I would give it a 5.8 (good), but I give it, for Xbox, a 6.6, because the gameplay is fits very much it.

Very good game! It is rich of action, it's a fast-paced game (or almost) and it is very competitive! Recommended if you're a fan of hard and fast action games.

You shouldn't even give a try to this garbage. They promise you that it's a completely free game, but it's not. It has some extra points that you REALLY need to have for most of the game best "gameplay" points, but guess what? "Premium", does this remind you something? Yeah, exactly, you guessed right. It's the same purpose as premium contents on most of FreeToPlay games: make you PAY REAL MONEY to get some game special object. Also, the gameplay has no sense and is completely boring. There isn't a gameplay, nor a plot. Avoid this ... ehmm.. "game".
