Dragon Age: Inquisition5
Sep 23, 2017
Finally, I've got to play this on PC. I have waited for a sequel for so long and... here I am. To be honest, there has been a love-hate relationship betwenn me, the player, and the game. I have both pros and cons. There are small frustrations and big ones. I won't stay and write a lot of rows to be hard to read, so I'll try to make it as simple and personal as I can Pros: - The game looks absolutely beautiful. From the Coastal regions, to the Desert and The Hinterlands, this is one of the most beautiful games I've played in recent memory. They have put so much attention to detail and created atmospheric places, in response to DA2's style. - The Inquisitor has been given a bigger and better overhaul in personality and dialogue and options than its predecesors. There are few times when the dialogue seems tiring or rushed out. I loved how many branching paths you have in your relationships. - The gear is quite diverse and good looking (well, except staffs mostly) - The animations are better than expected. - Voicing is actually impressive and diverse. - The story is enjoyable, but I'm not sure I really enjoyed it as I enjoyed the first one's story. It was easier to catch up, yes, but at the same time, the quality in writing and main plot, it feels a little downgraded. - I actually liked most of the side quests I did. They were vast and not all of them were go there and give or kill that which didn't make me quit my game when the main plot made me burnout. Cons: Here are some of my reasons why I gave this game, a 5. - The mounts are goddamn horrendous. The horse animation is so poor and its speed... and sometimes it is completely unresponsive. - WHY IS IT SO HARD TO CLIMB A BARELY CURVED VALLEY? The slipping is annoying at best. You have to destroy 2 keyboards in order to climb a small path to find something that shouldn't have been put somewhere you can't normally go. - Textures pop-up. It happened most of the time. - T H E L O A D I N G S C R E E N S A R E ------------------- UGH. First of all, I have no idea why they put those reading cards there if those go away in max 10 seconds ... and then... ANOTHER BLACK SCREEN LOADING. Like... Why didn't they leave the card loading screen instead of... Damn. THEN. It takes minutes to load. And I'm above the requirements with a lot. It took me 2 minutes once to be able to cross a small room and then, whoa, another loading screen. Damn EA. This broke the immersion for me. I didn't want to think that everytime there was a loading screen I had time to go eat something. Players shouldn't feel that way. You fkd up at this chapter. Badly. - TECHNICAL PROBLEMS EVERYWHERE. Few were the times when after a loading screen I would be able to keep playing because the game would freeze with sound still working or the screen would turn white, also with the sound on. - I had a lot of errors with DirectX and from what I read, you messed around with the engine and with even a little overheat or hiccup from the GPU, the game would crash. - Frame drops in most of the areas. While there wasn't a vast drop, it's noticeable. All I want to say is that I love(d) Bioware more before when their games were actually made with heart and care. You'll notice immediately that the game is a port. It was primarily made for consoles which hurt the PC community. What I said here isn't necesarily good. It is good for the Bioware we actually know nowadays, not for the Bioware it once was. The voicing could've been better. The skills could've been done better. Somehow, it feels rushed. And the requirements are waaay overboard for how bad it was done, for PC. All in all, I had hopes... and they were crushed. And I am not saying it's bad. Not at all. It was handed poorly and it could've been way better.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice5
Sep 15, 2017
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a game made by Ninja Theory, developed entirely on Unreal Engine 4. It took a long wait to finally see this game make it on the market. I finished it in 2 days, roughly. I just couldn't finish it on one playthrough. I had high hopes for this, but ultimately, I can't really recommend it. It looks good on PC; the game really proves the power of Unreal 4, but as what the game offers, it's not enough for me, plus the wrong steps they took. First of all, the story is kind of... nice, the presentation hooks you up immediately, but as the story moves on, it becomes a mess, you might just lose interest. It's kind of the same dialogue, it's kind of the same thing told with other words. What I liked is the topic. I haven't seen many other games tread psychiatrical problems this way. Then... where the problem appears. THE GAME IS EXTREMELY TEDIOUS around the half of it. THE GAME IS FILLED WITH WAAAY TOO MANY PUZZLES, ONE AFTER ANOTHER. They aren't hard, but you'll sigh everytime you have to look for certain symbols, running in circles and noticing that SENUA IS GODDAMN SLOW. I get it it's a game about mental problems, but the puzzles broke the immersion and the atmosphere just fade away after going through a gate and another puzzle waiting for me. The last thing that I want to say, the combat. It's extremely simple, but it's enjoyable, it's not like it's the main part of the game, but it contributes. Some fights are rewarding, some hard, some that you wish would end sooner, but ultimately, it didn't tire me. Also, I really paid attention to detail, voices and art style. They really immitate The Nordic/Viking lore. This area of the game has been extremely well done. TL;DR: Pros: - Presentation and Topic - Graphics - Voice Acting and Art Style - Psycosis was extremely well potrayed. Neutral: - Execution of the Story - Combat Negative: - Puzzles *I think the game would be 2-3 hours without those filling puzzles* - Execution of the story - Senua is too slow in walking and even running - Writing becomes tiring to listen to and even read. *I took my headphones off at the last scene, the puzzle and voices really drove me nuts I couldn't wait to finish it* Conclusions: The game isn't terrible by any means, but it isn't really what I have been waiting for. I can't recommend to casual puzzle, action or story rich gamers. It's basically a walking simulator with an attempt to a great story. I could say to only hardcorre fans to puzzle to try this, fans of walking simulators and eventually if you are curious how psychotic people cope with this mental issue.

I am not a fan of Borderlands, but neither hate it. But, apparently, being a fan of TellTale, I started playing this title and I was overwhelmed... Pros: - Immersive story - Great battles - Great characters - Length - Premise - Appealing acting Cons: - Few bugs I cannot say that I am truly impressed by this title brought by Telltale... Even though I don't know nothing about Borderland universe, I bet every game is a masterpiece

All I did was playing because a lot of people said GamersGoMarkers is way better than Game Dev. But, apparently, it isn't, despite the core features that it has, more than Game Dev. But, to sum up, here are my cons and pros, about this game. Pros: Couple of new features. Better review mechanics. A better '' clock ''. Listing of games. Staff and multiple ' studios ' Cons: No animation Nothing to do while developping a game. Many bugs The game is not original in most of its wholly. Hard fullfiling reviewers. Pointless tutorial. It becames boring. Lack of achievements

Great EP. I love that you chose not to make separate EP's, like... retail and action work. It's a great EP. Solid, entertaining. Even tough the world is so small, you have a lot of opportunities and you can spend time seeing each career and seeing which one suits. For me, this is the best ever EP, so... keep it up!

The Sims 49
Feb 19, 2015
The Sims, one of the most longevive franchise. We have to say, every one is a step forward from the precedessor, even the latest title in the EA studio, Maxis, Sims 4. Even though the game is seen as a massive disappointment, I gotta say that it is a better game than The Sims 3, but why ? - First of all, The Sims is a simulation game, where graphics fall on inferior stages. Where the Sims 4 managed to bright is the realism, which is a better than the Sims 3, consisting in better interactions, better looking sims, improved AI and lot better game mechanics. - Secondly, even it lacks in content, it still brings a solid and comprehesive style of gameplay, which makes it a truly addiction. - Then, EA confirmed that The Sims 4 will have a lot more EPs than The Sims 3 had, and we can see that in less than half a year, the team put back the pools, cut some glitches and brought 2 ( 1 upcoming ) expansions. - I know the accustomed players with this series, like me are missing the common features like toddlers, open world and other items, but the team is working to make them possible by this year. For me, I mean, I understand that these things had to be pushed back to make space for other new stuff that will make the game a great universe of addiction, when all EPs are coming back. I say, let's give it a chance, stick with the Sims 3, until the game is complete and then compare it. It;s worth it, it gets better!

The Evil Within9

I eagerly waited this game. And to be honest, 80% of it is like I was expecting. Good graphics, various weapons, scary enemies, different places to journ on and realistic plot. However, the worst part of it is the difficulty. It's extremely hard to finish it, even on casual. And the cheesy thing is that your parteners split up with you everytime and they are really aidful, but there are few levels when they contribute to your battles. But all in all, is a good horror, a back to black of a resident evil and I really enjoyed.

One of my favourite games and one of the few fps that I like at the moment. I cannot say something more than I wrote at the previous game, but the graphics are better and there is the option to play as Jedi. There are more levels and characters from multiple series, such as Clone Wars. Great job!

I can't say something very important which is both wrong about this, but I don't know why there is not the possibility of playing with Jedi. I heard about this game several years ago, but I didn't try it since 2014. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the game is a huge mass of gigabytes, around 25, but I cannot blame BioWare. It took me around a day to have the entirely one. And, the gameplay is nice, polished let's say, but the basic combat is a bit poor. At least the skills contribute to the gameplay. I like the plot, very much and the companions; this is great all in all. I played until level 17, because the game caused me lots of crashes on computer and I saw this is an internal problem that, I hope they will fix it within the new EP, Galactic Strongholds. The world is polished, very nice and I like there is a lot of content and worlds to go to. Well, the items are expressive and I like they have style. I don't know what to say more, but I bet; even this is the first MMO of BioWare/EA, they did a great job and I disagree the negative impresses of other players. I know there are several imperfections, but I am sure there is no another one like this. Congrats BioWare, I am waiting for the new update!

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City5
Mar 17, 2014
I love the franchise of Resident Evil, each game, obviously. I don't know, I delayed playing this game a lot, just saying it will be a chaos, but it was just a bit different than I thought. I didn't understand why, at the beggining, I face a monster and then it disappear and I will never see him. Why ? What was his purpose? Also, the movement is weird, not so good. The graphics are okai, but not so nice for 2012. I don't know, I didn't like the gameplay; if you drop down, you can't go back. If there appear many creatures, you have a limited space to move and survive. The most I liked is that Raccoon City is the single RE with real zombies. The comrades are useless and if you die, they cannot revive you. Why ? You're the single good piece in the game. Rare times they heal you, rare times they defend you... They are for nothing. I didn't play the multiplayer, to confirm that if there you can be resurrected, but it's weird. They cannot do something special. I said the movement, the gameplay, now the plot. I didn't understand it at all. I don't know why you can kill Leon ( I have to mention that the game is happening between RE 2 an 3 ) and in the RE 4 you play as him. Something's not linking. Anyway, the characters are good and you can choose what you like, which is a good thing. The last thing I didn't like is that the game ends suddenly, after you have to kill or defend Leon, and that totally decepted me. All in all, is a playable game, and in my opinion, it's from 5 up. From me, 5.

Remember Me9
Mar 16, 2014
Remember me was a game which I lately heard about. When I played I said this is going to be boring and very unpleasant, but I have almost finished it and now I can decide myself. The story is awesome. I have never seen a idea like this, not even in movies, but in RM, sometimes, the purpose of the whole journey is forgotten. The character is great, well built and charming. What's missing for her it's a agressive husband. *joking*. I can say Nilin is the perfect one to finish getting back her memory and to make me ask who was she before this nightmare? The places are cool. A futuristic level at the concept of towns and alleys is not hard to make, not today, and here, the Neo-Paris is great built. What made me say this is one minimal detail which maybe doesn't matter in games who has not a open world: every shop, restaurant has its own interior and the inhabitants are not dead, such as other games, which make the game very nice watching. The gameplay is quite good; where I am talking about the movement, attack and parkour. The movement is very very easy to swallow, of course, for a woman, which is not a bitter pill. The attack is a bit confusing. I don't say about the combat and moves itself, but the combos are very often useless, as you don't know what to do to make one. On PC, QTE ( Quick Time Event(s)) are very decepting, as you have to execute some moves after some images that you do not know what means, and also, as a quick time event, you have to make them in a short time, not in a certain time. On consoles, at this class, the game is better polished. The parkour is neither good or bad, acceptable, as not to lower the grade for the game. You can just grap some edges of of a building, walk along the walls, climb up some stick and run quickly on platform, which does not constitutes a parkour game which also is not. All in all, the game is very attractive and nicely playing and I cannot understand why some gave it low grades and under-appreciated it. I give it a 9.

Resident Evil is a very popular franchise and also a longevive one. I can truly say that Revelation and 6 broke the ice; the best until now, maybe better than 4, but I am not going to compare the latest games with a 10-years-old games. Resident Evil 6 impressed me and I think a lot of players. The story and the connectivity made me think about Capcom capacity and concept. The graphics are awesome, especially on PC. The gameplay is good polished, as it tests you everytime, giving you some decisions and something new at every story of that 4. The characters are cool and has different personalities. I like that everyone had its own role in the story and Ada made a lot of players asking: ,, Is she good or evil?" But no, I said, the graphics, characters, levels, story, gameplay and places are great. The thing I liked best and I hardly understood is that the story is following the same way as the first Resident Evil, 4 and also Raccoon city, which is great and a rare thing, as every new game in a series changes completely the story, but here no. So, it's a very good game, the best in RE franchise. So, I give it a 10

Beyond: Two Souls8
Mar 8, 2014
Beyond Two Souls was not so popular game, such as Heavy Rain, but still, it was quite better from some views than Heavy Rain, but not as better as it. The graphic is awesome, the best I could say for the late of 2013. The cinematics are great and the performance of the two Hollywood actors was cool. But nevertheless, the gameplay eclipsed those several better things than Heavy Rain; The story is nice, but this reversal of the chapters and the transformation of Jodie decepted a lot of players. However, this was not the worst thing, but the fact that whatever you do, you cannot die, as Aiden helps you all the time, and this made the game worse, not realistic. Quantic dream tried to make Beyond Two Souls a mixture between psychological, adventure and horror genre, but I guess the combat from this adventure of the game made it a bit hard to swallow. I have to praise the performance of Ellen Page; even they took a not-so-popular actress, she made her role so good. I can say that the game could be much better, certainly better than Heavy Rain, if David Cage would polish a bit the gameplay and the concept. Therefor, I give it an 8, rating it very good.

The simple good thing in the game is the graphic. I am often asking if the developers know that the games look like nowadays. Virtual Co-op is better than this, just because that was the time for this tipe of gameplay and not 2014. This is awkward... you cannot do something different! The most active is shooting and then doing cover. This is not a good game, as shooter, but, maybe, as a different game, should be better.
