A crap platformer, though i know that is the point. The best thing about it is the FMV interludes. AVGN fans will get some mild amusement out of it and that's it. No way in hell the critic score should be this high, but who is surprised when critics rate everything on an 80-100 scale.
A very mildly interesting racer let down by extremely shallow game modes. It's a multiplayer/party game through-and-through; stay away and stick with Mario Kart if you're a single-player gamer. There is a 2-hour long story mode of sorts, but it's painfully repetitive and dull and the 'story' is mind-numbingly generic.
Good beat 'em up let down by bugs and crashes on Switch 2. The game crashes about 50% of level ends or screen transitions, and I experienced major bugs on the level with the rolling boulder which required me to quit the game.
Decent game in the vein of Genital Jousting, as long as you can overlook the fact that you play as a baby named Henry who has been deemed a they/them by his parents at less than 3 years of age.
I don't know why the game is rated so highly when it's fundamentally broken. Multiple crashes on Series X, various glitches, and the Super Sedans career series doesn't register as completed when you finish it and doesn't let you progress so career mode is unplayable. It's a shame as the gameplay itself is great. But everything surrounding it is broken and uninspired.
Marvel Kombat. Story and writing are cringe and it carries into the whole tone of the game, which has been softened and lost the darkness Mortal Kombat is known for. Disappointing.
Has potential but is too obnoxiously difficult to be fun. Together with the poorly designed HUD, fiddly controls and bad camera, this is probably the most disappointing game of the year.
