Horror 3/5 Decently Scary, I feel like any game studio big or small could easily recreate the horror of this game. Gameplay 1/5 Boring, it's just boring. Don't give that "Horror games are supposed scare not for you to have fun." FNAF is fun and that's a horror game. Overall 4/10 Not very good, not very bad.
I played this A LOT when was like 8 years old. I liked it until the age of like 11. I tried to get back into this game. But I f###ing can't. The devs are sellouts. Doom guy a video game character that is a historical figure within gaming history. So Doom guy being in Fortnite is stupid. Thisgame needs to license everything little thing to still be popular. Fortnite is not what it used to be.
I play this game when I want to play Left 4 Dead 1, playing this game though Left 4 Dead 2 is not how you should play it. So buy this game if you have Left 4 Dead 2, because I would suggest playing through Left 4 Dead 1 normally.
This game is amazing. The guns feel nice to shoot, levels are pretty good and an awesome dark fantasy theme. to be honest, it's not mindlessly shooting. You have to think what weapons to use etc. Play it now.
This game makes COD Zombies look like crap. The Zombies in this game are fun as hell to fight. There are special infected that will beat your ass down. But that doesn't mean the common infected are push overs. This game is better than other co-op games because the co-op actually affects gameplay rather than "I don't know... just add more players". Get can get pinned down in this game and to get up YOU NEED A TEAMMATE. This supports AI teammates for people like me who have no friends to play with.
The villain makes this game prefect. Not gonna tell you much about the villain. But I will tell you that this game is a simple masterpiece. The test chambers in this game are pretty good. If it's a Valve game... YOU KNOW IT'S GONNA BE GOOD. There's only really like 2 Valve games that are bad. This low count of bad games makes them the King of gaming (I'm looking at YOU 343). This game is not very story driven. That's not a bad thing for me. But if that's a bad thing for you, then you might not like Portal 1. This game is a game you should play before you die.
I haven't finished Half-life 1. But the story has been spoiled to me, so I think I can give a review on it. I'm currently on Chapter 10 and I love this game. If you don't, then at least give the game a higher number than 0. Just make sure HD models are off. The HD models **** and take away the classic look. Luckily you can easily turn these off,. This game has better story telling than most modern games. Half-Life has more life than Call Of Duty and Battlefield combined. Truly one of THE BEST FPS GAMES ON THE MARKET.
