pokemon used to be about quality and fun,but the games have been downhill since Junichi Masuda was removed from director role after XY. Pokemon Z version is *DECENT* at best, but its upsetting that we went from a somewhat (and very buggy game) with SWSH/SV. and now we have this. but while i do understand that "its a kids game." but so is anime/cartoons, so are marvel/dc movies/comics, so is star wars, magic the gathering, lego games, fornite, CoD, Battlefield etcetc. but kids should still know what quality is, vs being used to the bare minimum from the get-go.
but yea, thats my main thing with this game in particular (and kalos being one of my top 5 favorite regions) its still fun for what it is, but there could have been so much more for the 13 year wait, yknow? and for instance this is pretty much everything i noted from my recent playthroughs of the older games (working on living dex in all games)
